  1. unfortunately I'm starting to get that sense as well...
  2. Ugh this is incredibly disconcerting for our future. Really want to see Bo back next year with USC and Texass in the HC hunt as well. So far it is looking grim. Come on boys let's rally and get out of here with a W
  3. I can't believe people are "supporting" that type of behavior. I love Pelini's fire and don't care a lick how much he yells and screams. But there is no circumstance which excuses him swinging his hat at an official like that.Childish.
  4. my TV almost caught an iPhone to the face after that last BS call but luckily he made it out unscathed
  5. I wonder how much money friend of the ref crew have on the game? The only possible explanation for that horsesh#t call
  6. I know I already said it but I'll say it again. These officials should NEVER work an NCAA game again. That is atrocious. Makes me sick
  7. I am still LIVID about that call. That is nothing less than flat out cheating.
  8. We never stopped sucking, we just played a couple teams that sucked more Looks truer by the second...disheartening
  9. Are we really THAT frightened of the fake punt!? With :19 left in the half, it is baffling to me that we don't at least ATTEMPT to block the punt. If you block it, you put yourself in position for a FG before half. If you don't block it you just take it into half... So stupid
  10. Is it concerning to anyone else that recruits are bringing this up to our coaches? Yikes. Not that that says anything about whether or not the rumor is true, just that even the rumor itself has recruits concerned...
  11. After this loss, the board again seems divided into two camps regarding Bo. I think most people have taken a stance on what they want to see at the end of the season. I wanted to get people's predictions on what you think will actually happen. Personally, I think Pelini has earned another year, but this is how I would see things playing out in different scenarios: Win @ PSU, win vs. Iowa, win in bowl game: Bo stays Lose @ PSU, win vs Iowa, competitive bowl game: Bo stays Win @ PSU, lose vs Iowa, competitive bowl game: Bo goes Lose @ PSU, lose vs Iowa, win bowl game: Bo goes? Win @ PSU, Win vs Iowa, blowout loss in bowl game: Bo goes? Again, the point of this thread isn't to discuss what you think should be done (plenty of those), but instead what you think will be done. Just trying to get a feel for the kind of heat Bo has right now
  12. I personally can't complain too much about a team that wins 10 games with regularity. But I have low standards maybe... The point is, people bandy around statistics sometimes that make it seem like Nebraska is in far more elite company than it actually is. Alabama, Oregon, Boise? I love Nebraska and all but we haven't been in the same league under Bo's tenure. It's invalid to suggest so. 6 years without a BCS bowl appearance doesn't place Bo's Huskers (for all their admirable qualities over the years) with any of the top teams in the country over the last half decade plus. We've been pretty regularly a marginal Top 25 team. How bad or good that is is open to interpretation. This. Using the "look at the other teams who win 9+ games every year!" argument is disingenuous, IMO. Most people are using it to imply that we are in good company. We are not. Having said that, I am hopeful that Bo can take this team to the level where that statement is a fair assessment of the program.
  13. Fun fact. Same officiating crew called Kenny Bell's hit, but not the Michigan player's hit. wow really? Ridiculous...
  14. Sorry if this has already been discussed but didn't see it anywhere on the main page. Is there any type of officiating review process from week to week in the B1G? I'm wondering how any official who isn't blind or flat out incompetent wouldn't call something on the MICH player who blind-sided Seisay on a punt return (I believe). Whether or not you agree with the targeting rule, I don't think you can argue that that hit essentially defined targeting. For instance, the PAC12 officials in the WIS/ASU game this season got "reprimanded" for their end-of-game debacle. I know that was a different situation because those officials essentially decided the outcome of that game by being bone-heads. Still, at the very least it would be nice for the NCAA to come out and say "the crew was wrong not to call a targeting foul" or something like that, given that it has been so inconsistently called this year. You would think the NCAA would try to save some face by at least pretending that it's trying to call the rule consistently....
  15. So everyone is on the same page, the following people and inanimate objects are against Nebraska: ABC Announcers B1G Officials Beck FG Uprights Lady Luck Did I miss anyone/thing? probs Michigan, too
