This seems less promising than the Bussey situation IMO. I would love to have him in this class but don't think it is the end of the world if he decommits, as long as we can keep Neal and the Davis twins (specifically I think Carlos Davis would be a great DE). Again, hope he hates Louisville!

Like his speed, but dude needs to work on his hands! His "1 0n 1" video on HUDL showed him drop more balls than he caught. That being said, he is a thumper with elite speed so I would love to have him, especially after losing DJ Singleton.

I personally think comparable to cross. But a little more elusive. Just from his tape obviously.

I prefer the other backs we were going after in recent weeks (better speed), but this is a pretty clear sign that we were not looking to great with them. Happy to have him though!

I just watched Carlos' HUDL tape again and his quickness for his size is INCREDIBLE. He has replaced Eric Lee as the most exciting defensive recruit in this class for me. I think he will make a great d-end.

I don't think the offense is going to be a mirror image of MR at OSU, because our talent doesn't fit that IMO. I think jones fits the type of offense that our current roster calls for. But that is obviously complete speculation on my part and you could very well be spot on with your thoughts. He's an intriguing athlete though. But who MR recruits for his first QB will be a very good indicator of the identity of the offense that he pictures going foreword.

If we retain the twins and add Jones, Vaughn, and Barnett this would be a great class, especially considering the circumstances.

Great point. At this time I consider him not committed (obviously) so it will be a huge bonus if we get him but not a huge disappointment if we don't, since the disappointment sunk in in November.

How do you know he was the one that dialed? Can the recruits call coaches, but the coaches just cant call recruits? I dont know anything about the rules, that's why I am asking what the rules are. I figure that they have to be calling though because how else would they be offering scholarships?

Also, how are they offering all of these kids (and there is a picture of Riley calling one today) during the dead period? How do the rules work??
