lol, @SouthLincoln Husker hope you're right. A sweep would do the huskers good.
Got to be. I hate Hawkeyes!

Game 3 in 30 mins..
Huskers at 10-4 in conference. Can they sweep and claim a portion of the leaders board?
Iowa falls to 9-8 and 6th place in the standings.
Iowa sucks!

Illinois lost the series to Maryland which is HUGE for everyone. Indiana won. Purdue is up 4-2 over Northwestern.
Nebraska needs both these games if they hope to remain in 2nd place Monday.
Conference leaders (Illinois & Purdue) will be 11-4 following play today. Michigan & Indiana are 10-5. Nebrask is currently 9-4, sweep and we're in first with 3 weeks left. Yep, sounds good but in all honesty, just win the series and the rest will work itself out.
Conference Race after this weekend:
- Illinois - Ohio State, Iowa, at Purdue
- Purdue - has Indiana, at Michigan, Illinois left to play
- Indiana - on the road for Purdue & Nebraska, Michigan home
- Michigan - at Michigan State, Purdue, at Indiana
- Nebraska - at Minnesota, Indiana, at Michigan State
1 more & you will be dancing in the street!

I need theories.
Why/How does Haarberg look like a completely different passer?
Spring game mirage?
Competition pushing him to be better?
Under or mis-utilized prior?
Mechanics look better

He still looks really really good for
a kid that could still be in HS
I agree, but analyzing the spring game is crazy.

Either Dylan is really good or our defense is really bad
It's a glorified practice & you can't tackle the qbs!

But the bullpen sucks !!!!!
Back trolling again! I've been saying from the beginning that Worthley should be our closer & was not getting used enough!

Well it would certainly be a weird decision for him to go to the NFL a full year before he's allowed to.
Amen! Lol

Where's he going?

That's why I thought they should have went after another qb last recruiting cycle instead of just adding 2. MR is putting all his faith into Dylan and rightfully so but as we seen throughout the years there is a significant dropoff in qb play if the starter get hurt. I'm in the same believe with @runningblind
No QB is coming here to be #2!!!!!!

Same issue as last year. Can't win midweek and it's going to bite us. What a disappointment indeed @bugeater17
Christo sucks, 3 bad starts in a row!

Well ... we were complaining about other teams throwing their better pitchers mid-week.
We're throwing our original Friday starter....
Drew has struggled much of the year. His last 2 starts did not make it though 3. Hoping for 5, maybe 6 innings.

While I think Christo is the much better arm for the Sunday slot, I like what we saw from Walsh. I think Christo is too much like Sears and MM, that is a good change of pace to see a crafty lefty on Sunday. Hopefully Bolt moves Christo to the midweek and able to pick up some much needed midweek Ws moving forward.
Christo has not got through the 3rd inning on the last 2 starts. He is not like Sears. Not even close.

Okay, but are they eating the operational costs or are they using part of the donations as implied by the post I quoted?
Eating the operational costs. I'm paying part of it, as I'm a customer of Sandhills owned by Peeds, as my charges have doubled in the last 2 years.

Thought the Peeds were eating the operational costs.
They got money coming from other places & seem to be dedicated Huskers.

I have. He looked ok but nothing spectacular.
He is 6' 3", fast & athletic. Went FCS route because he was 165 out of HS. He has gain 20 to 25 lbs. Plus, his dad was an nfl lb.

I didn't know if it was a typo accidentally sorry that's a huge surprise to me. I didn't think he would be running with the ones on defense already. I wonder how Hartzog and Marques Buford are doing?
He is a transfer not a HS player. There is a reason why the coaches got him out of the portal. If you look at his film, you would not be surprised!

This was ugly from the 1st pitch!

He leads the bullpen in innings, how much more do you want him used? second in appearances.
Borst has the best stuff and should be closer but he isn't throwing enough strikes
Daiss and Worthley have been solid
Sanders and Froelich are the next
Throwing strikes is the problem with majority of our bullpen. They are constantly getting behind batters & allowing them to sit on the fast ball. Like I said before, control is an issue & it's not just one of them l. Last night, 2 free passes. Control!

Where is South Lincoln to say our bullpen sucks?
As a whole they do. Like usual, Sears did his job. Worthley is the 1 bright spot in the bull pen that has an era around 2 & he does not get used enough. Look at the box score before talking trash or are just a troll!

No Hoiberg team is complete w/o at least one “foreign big man project”. I assume we’re saving our 13th scholarship for one.

You can pretty much assume anyone who started their career as a walk-on (even if they were on scholarship at one point) and most of the guys transferring in each year are not technically on scholarship. Also guys coming back for 5th/6th years - my understanding is guys who sign out of high school get that scholarship for 4 years, but after that they could be taken off. Several high school guys are not on scholarship either. There are a lot more than 10 guys in those buckets.
I'm talking scholarship players!
