  1. Bo in Qmany's second picture has that "another day at the office" routine look of approval.

  3. Why are all NFL replays called now by three guys in New York and this clown has final say in who's right and wrong? What in the heck happened to fair judgement?
  4. I was talking with a friend the other night about the Miami-Nebraska games of old and we got to discussing how both teams cranked out NFL talent for the 90's and 2000's. He brought up a great point that within the next couple of years, Nebraska Football could have the best Defensive Tackle (Suh), the best Defensive End 3-4 Pass Rusher (Gregory), and best Outside Backer (David) in the game. Better NFL talent in the past 30 years? Most likely The U with the ridiculous amount of 1st rounders. However, I'd take an Osborne coached team over a Schnellenberger, Johnson, or Erickson team any day of the year. Looking forward to a great game between one of our old rivals anyway.
  5. Hokies up on Ohio State 35-21 in the last minute of the 4th Central Michigan squashed Purdue 38-17 Northern Illinois beat Northwestern 23-15 Oregon ran up the score on the "best defense" in the Big ten to the tune of 46-27 Notre Dame shut out Michigan 31-0 Maryland, Minnesota, Iowa, Rutgers, Penn State, Illinois, and as everyone knows Nebraska had close wins against "inferior" opponents. When 12 out of 13 Teams in your conference have a rough Saturday early on in the season, I think a huge statement has been made clear, the talent and coaching is not very far off from one another and sometimes the competition is much closer than the average fan would ever like to admit. Sure the days of pounding opponents into the ground was awesome, and the 90's are a great period in Nebraska lore. But those days are long over with, now its a dog eat dog firefight every weekend and I'm sure glad we have a leader like Ameer Abdullah to look to when the game is on the line. He will be a Heisman trophy winner in my book regardless of how the season goes. Good on Mcneese for executing their game plan and bringing their A game, they deserve a lot of credit. We need all the kinks ironed out before the conference slate begins.
  6. How many seasons of a negative TO margin will happen before Bo finally changes the approach?
  7. You know, being without Gregory is really putting our defense in a tough spot
  8. Why is he sitting out? We need our best out there..
  9. It might be far fetched now, but would have to agree with Blitz in saying Kevin will be the steal of this class down the road. A Quarterback with roots in Sweden? Let the European pipeline open baby.
  10. It's official, he elected to play JV for Guyer this fall.
  11. http://drchighschoolblog.dentonrc.com/2014/08/dont-be-shocked-if-dillman-stays.html/ Does anyone with a rivals account know whether he'll stay or go? They have a front page story about Kevin and no other site seems to have any info yet..
  12. http://www.dentonrc.com/sports/sports-headlines/20140811-football-guyer-quarterback-kevin-dillman-ruled-ineligible.ece Reinforces Mavric's reason why he was ruled ineligible, also confirms that he is looking into JV at Guyer or Argyle Liberty Christian. Guyer head coach and sophomore QB Shawn Robinson had good things to say about him and their relationship over the course of the off-season.
  13. In my estimation, this might actually end up being the best scenario for Kevin. He won't have to split reps with Shawn Robinson during the season although he is stepping down the equivalent of 4A to a 3A school. Talents like him don't often come around he'll be welcomed with open arms. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/recruiting-qb-kevin-dillman-denied-eligibility-at-texas-high-school/article_d9ac9b9c-217b-11e4-900a-0017a43b2370.html
  14. Seeing as they fired Greg Price, their head coach in march, and don't have a roster listed on Maxpreps, Kevin will likely get an immediate opportunity to start. I work with a few of Liberty's players and after camp got out they were in awe of Kevin and had a lot of good things to say about him. http://www.dentonrc.com/sports/high-schools/high-school-football-headlines/20140321-football-liberty-christian-fires-price.ece
  15. He said they now run a remember the titans style camp so I couldn't get this image out of my head.
  16. Still 100%, this just allows him to play.
  17. Heard from a friend who plays center and goes to my old high school of liberty christian Argyle that Kevin was introduced to the team during football camp. Rumor is the UIL indeed will rule him ineligble so he will likely play at my old private school. They have a good football program and turn out BCS players every few years. Strange how he and I have played for the same teams in sweden and in Texas.
  18. My guess is somewhere between Quinten Castille, (suspended indefinately), and performance enhancing drugs slap on the wrist couple game suspension. Doesn't do any good to speculate though we could all be completely off with what happened. Adversity builds character and these guys are gonna have plenty of it come season end at this going rate.
