We're going to be in New York for the Super Bowl, so we were figuring out where to make plans. Now, based on the results, I think we're honestly just not that interested in watching the game. We have a family of Giants, Bills, and Broncos fans on this trip. I am just so tired of the Chiefs, the crap with Mahomes and Kelce yesterday, the T-Swizzle coverage, etc. I hate to say it, but we may actually give the game a miss this year, or at the very least just be casual observers. Seems weird, I know, but that's kind of the sense we have.

Lots of talk here locally (very one-sided, obviously) about Embiid once again dodging the Nuggets for the game here in Denver. I'm just curious what everyone else thinks about the situation. Nuggets fans have strong opinions about him not playing in Denver since 2019, especially with this most recent game. What do people from other fan bases think? I'd be really interested to hear the Philly fan take on this.

If you're talking about Nelson, are you sure you heard right?
This is all the 247 article says:
"It’s something that I’ve been dreaming about forever," said Nelson. "I’m extremely excited to see the way of life and different culture. This will be my first time to Hawaii."
It was a graphic after he caught a pass with his name and info, and it said that underneath. I thought it was odd too, so maybe an oops by the broadcast; he sure doesn't look Hawaiian to me.

Glad to see the connection developing between Raiola and Nelson, but... why was Nelson playing in the Poly bowl??
There was a note at one point in the game that he had Hawaiian ancestry.

Oklahoma? No!!!

Thanks @Nate! I have read a bunch of reviews, they all seem to be pretty consistent with Fubu being best for sports, and YTTV and Hulu Live about the same, depending on the channel lineups. I appreciate the link, I'll check it out!

Great, thank you! Now I'm reconsidering giving up on the Altitude dream and going with YTTV or even Hulu+ Live, because it comes with ESPN+, and at least that way my wife can watch her Rangers games and my son can watch the Sabres. We're an odd hockey family.

FuboTV does have Altitude which is a plus, but it doesn't have the Turner channels like TNT, TBS, TruTV, etc so wouldn't be great for March Madness. We have YouTube TV it doesn't have Altitude, but has everything else you could want sports wise. No perfect answer just got to make do with what they have cause no streaming service has everything you want or are looking for.
That's exactly what I'm running into. We watch a lot of NBA and NHL, so it looks like I would also have to add Max because it has the Turner networks. Right now, I'm considering YTTV and just dealing with not having Altitude, because we haven't had that for the last several years anyway. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey all, looking for some recommendations or comments here. We're finally looking at cutting the cord because we're fed up with Xfinity and how much they charge (and their ongoing dispute with Altitude, ugh). Fubo seems like the best bet for us because we are a family that watches a lot of sports. We already have Hulu, Prime, Netflix, Apple TV, and Max. Moving to Fubo would save us a good amount monthly, and we'd only be using Xfinity for internet. I'm just wondering if any of you have used it and what your experience was like. My main concern is that they seem to broadcast in 720P, which doesn't seem great in this day and age of technology.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide, I appreciate it!

In a season of Broncos highs and lows, that garbage against the Patriots has to be the worst so far. With so much to play for, that team did not perform at all. I get all the heat against Russ, but to me, Sean Payton has been a huge disappointment this season. I know that he inherited most of the players on the team, but his play calling is just mind boggling at times. Ugh, yet another season without a playoff team to continue the drought after the Super Bowl. Bummer.

Great, thank you!

Two things:
1. Can you please make it where clicking on "next page" takes you to the top of that page? I don't know why I'd want to click on the next page to be sent to the bottom of it. Just doesn't make sense, and it happens sometimes on both desktop (Chrome) and mobile for me.
2. Please ban all ads for Coach Prime's hair supplements. This is a Nebraska site for crying out loud!

Posting Tommie's completion % as some kind of indicator of how he performed in college is just ridiculous. Yes, he struggled with that, and like I said, he was a very different QB than what DR will be. But the nearly 4 to 1 TD to INT ratio is not bad, and you failed to include anything about his running stats. Dude was a competitor, but like I said, comparing him to DR (or almost anyone for that matter) is pointless. But if this is what you want to go with, more power to you.

Frazier was one of the best college QBs to ever play the game, especially in the system that was being run at the time. I really enjoyed watching him play. I think it's fair to say that DR has a very different skillset and could make some throws that Tommie may not have been as skilled at, but to compare the two is apples and oranges.

My husband is a Georgia alum. He just asked me if I have to work today. I said yeah. He said "Oh, I thought today was a state holiday in Nebraska. Dylan Raiola day."
Well done by him!

I think this is a decent, impartial take on the situation.

Awkward for sure, but the high school he transferred to coincidentally kind of has a reputation for sending guys to other schools. They don't always have top end recruits, but when they do those guys haven't picked UGA in recent years. This year you had Raiola, but then fellow 5-stars KJ Bolden and Eddrick Houston are going to FSU and OSU. Last year Justice Haynes went to Bama and Paul Mubenga signed with LSU. In 2022 the top 2 guys signed with Bama, no one else on the team had big offers. 2021 was a down year as far as recruits and we actually signed their top two. 2020 the top guy went to Bama, 2019 the top 3 went to OSU, Texas, and Florida.
I don't think this actually had anything to do with Raiola flipping, and I've got to reiterate UGA probably only offers 1-2 Buford guys each year - sometimes 0. But they haven't actually signed a kid from Buford since 2013, and that was jokingly brought up by UGA fans when Raiola announced that's where he was going. Not as funny now I guess. The head coach there will probably have it worse than Raiola, he doesn't get to leave and fans are not always rational with these things.
Excellent points, thank you! It seems so odd that a school that appears to churn out some great talent doesn't have much of a relationship with the nearby dominant program.

I was thinking this morning (probably because I have a son in high school) about how the next few days may be for DR. I can't imagine it being very pleasant being at a high school in GA currently, and potentially decommitting from UGA. If he does commit to Nebraska, I would imagine that the family gets him out of there, ASAP.

Was at UNL at that time. We had a party and watched that game. It was so weird because all us Husker fans just kept waiting for NU to wake up and start to roll and it just never happened.
I was in the ASU student section decked out in my Husker gear for that game. I kept telling everyone that we'd figure it out and turn things around. That was not a pleasant experience.

I'm assuming during his walk around campus he saw what every red blooded male also sees when you go to ASU and thought, "You know what coach, I'm here to compete."
Ah, memories...
