  1. Having 4 quailty running backs is a good problem to have, but only one can carry the rock. Wilson looks like a tank and has demonstrated his desire to be the man. I just hope that the others can accept their roles (if this is all true), I'm sure they will still get their chances.
  2. As long as A&M gets through Tech, they should be in great shape going into the last three games. But just as we have USC, Texas, and A&M...you have three tough games with OK(time will tell on their strength), NU and Texas. It will be hard for either team to come up with 3 W's, not impossible but tough. All the TV honks say it is Texas and Oklahoma's conference, but they just go with the concensus :hmmm because they dont have a sack to actually go with an underdog. It should be a fun season
  3. Not a chacne in hell Peterson comes back. Violations, grades and a beat up body wont allow him to pass up quick millions. EXACTLY
  4. ESPN story It is down to Nebraska and 2 other schools.
  5. Played Waverly in HS, they had the WORSE field in the conference, if not the state. Might as well been playing in the parking lot.........
  6. It has CU's K Mason Crosby as #5. Dude kicked a 60 yarder in a game and a 75 yarder in practice. That is the only way they score this year, 75 yard FGs. 3...6...9...12...........
  7. Been to Ft. Collins once for a weekend, it is beautiful. I know not everyone from Colorado is a Buff honk, that is why I said Boulder in an earlier post.
  8. Your post Call it 33'8" by 117 by 8"...so 33.7 by 117.7= 3966.49 Whip em out fellas and measure. lol....
  9. This will obviously have a bigger effect on teams who rely heavily on the ground game. I hope BC has looked at this and adjusted accordingly. I agree that is doesn't provide any immediate positives for the players or fans.
  10. It is no secret that Nebraska fans show the other team respect and tip their hats regardless of the outcome of the game. Alot like the classy fans in Boulder and Manhattan
  11. I hope a tornado doesn't go through Austin because it looks like they slapped it on a couple of fence posts and plugged it in. Ours is somewhat built into the stadium. Regardless both screens are HUGE. Each year someone will build a bigger one until you need to be in the blimp to make out the picture.
  12. That is saying something, I hope to get the chance to get back up there soon... I must have missed this info, hope him and Spurrier have nice long candle-lit dinners and talk about their "feelings"..... Maybe if Spurrier was the HC at NORTH Carolina St.... AWE! Sorry was just anxious to get one last blast in on the drama queen
  13. Awesome pics, thanks, well done
  14. I wonder how Madden 07' would look on it.....
  15. Link Becoming one of Texas A&M's newest traditions, the 1998 Maroon Out led to a temporary national shortage of maroon t-shirts. 31,000 Maroon Out shirts were sold at low cost to ensure that tens of thousands of Aggies attending the Texas A&M vs. Nebraska football game would create a sea of maroon spirit throughout the stands. Even the Nebraska fans acknowledged after the game that the intensity of the Maroon Out spirit made a difference in the game leading to A&M's 28-21 victory. As The Daily Nebraskan expressed it on October 12, 1998: "A game that was dubbed a 'maroon-out' for Texas A&M fans proved to be a lights out for Nebraska. The fans dressed themselves in maroon T-shirts in an attempt to wash out the red and white that opponents have gotten used to. It worked." Each year one football game is specially designated for Maroon Out. In the first five years of the Maroon Out tradition, the Fightin' Texas Aggies have overcome all five opponents including four teams that were higher ranked and in the national top 10 at the time. Oct. 10, 1998 A&M vs. Nebraska (#2) 28-21 Nov. 26, 1999 A&M vs. Texas (#5) 20-16 Oct. 28, 2000 A&M vs. Kansas State (#8) 26-10 Sept. 29, 2001 A&M vs. Notre Dame 24-3 Nov. 9, 2002 A&M vs. Oklahoma (#1) 30-26

  17. If we get past USC, Texas and ISU, more than likely are poll position will be alot higher than 9th. If we go undefeated, then we should be contendig for a national championship. Just my two cents.........
  18. ....others like to cruise around and text message their mommies.......
  19. Umm, yeah this is the Rivals one, my bad.....
  20. Don't know how official it is but I found this one...... Link
  21. I agree gamecocks, I know it is an over used cliche, but we need to take it game by game. If we look past certain games towards USC and/or Texas, we may end up with a heartbreaker. Any team can upset another on any given day. Just go out and execute and things will fall in place.
  22. Just read it, sounds like Purify has a chip on his shoulder for the USC game. I am sure the guy wants to take it to the paydirt about 3 times in the first half to make a statement. Hildebrand in pads today, might want to "thumb" or "scan" the playbook first
  23. Riding with strangers? I don't quite understand, was the driver waveing rent money out the window to get Jarrett in the car?
  24. I voted for 12-2 simply because USC, Texas (possibly twice) and a tough environment at A&M will probably produce one loss. Trust me I'm hoping for a sweep too, but at the same time trying to be realistic. IMO, the most important game will be USC. If we can win that one, the confidence level will be so high. If we lose, then maybe the Texas game will be a "must win" to continue with the goals set out.
