To those who say experience is the issue with Bo, Frost doesnt solve that. To those who say recruiting is the issue with Bo, Frost doesnt solve that. To those who say we need better defensive output, Frost doesnt solve that. Frost would help us score a ton of points and would really be a slam dunk for nostalgia. But hes unproven even as an OC. Lets see how the Ducks finish out before we try and snake him away.

Because there is zero evidence that a hire with head coaching experience is better than a hire without. If you look at the current BCS Top 25, about exactly half of those coaches are first time head coaches. Oregon Stanford Baylor Clemson Oklahoma Texas A&M Texas Tech Just a few examples. For every coordinator turned head coach that failed you point out, I can point out another head coaching hire that was a head coach before and failed. Hell, this should be easy as pie to understand for Nebraska fans. Tom Osborne was never a head coach, but Bill Callahan was. (p.s. please don't strawman me responding that I'm trying to prove a point by cherrypicking certain instances. I'm not. I'm only countering false points.) I wouldnt accuse you of cherrypicking. I think you jusr like disagreeing with me. Frost would be cool because he QB'd here. If not for that he wouldnt be on anyones radar yet.

Unfortunately I think he can only lose @ Michigan. Any more or any other opponent and I think hes out. Sorry to say it cause I like the guy.

Please, If we have to get a new coach can we get one who has been one before. Sure bring Frost in as OC but how about Peterson or Briles as Head man.

Nebraska did win the 09 title game. The one second means nothing. Colt Mccoy never scored a TD. He was down a yard short when he reached the ball across flat on his stomach.

The Chiefs do this and it's fun. But anyway...who cares. What happened to Bo's "put the N under someone's chin" speeches that motivate players? That would be called targeting. Gets players ejected. But seriously, he has lost his passion partly because it was taken away from him after a&m.

We are at a point in this season we never expected, this is rough. The staff seems like its headed in a dark direction. Hope we can win out but unless we get some momentum the course may not shift.

I used Wazzu and Colorado as examples because they are both programs who have had success and are on hard times. Much harder times than ours. But if you think my standard is that low youve got another thing coming. Oh well, go ahead and mock me. Just add to the issue and dont worry about supporting the team. Nebraska needs all the help it can get from its fans. Like it or not this isnt a dream job. Vastly unpopulated with slim pickings for top tier recruits. The surrounding states dont offer a boatload either and there is a chance that kids familyhates Nebraska for beating Kansas 90 times in a row. So we have to go coast to coast. Now youve.gotta convince a kid that comes from a place it doesnt snow to come here and help win conference titles and national titles even though we havent done it in ten plus years. I dont care if you are Nick Saban or Urban Meyer. This is one of the tougher name brand places to recruit. But look at that raw talent on the field. Tell me your not excited for that next year. Problem is now Bo likely wont get to see it out and cherish the fruit of his labor. Some new guy will. Thats fotball though. Just remember how hard a coach has to bust his tail to get kids here next time you think Bo cant recruit. If its his schemes and play calling uou dont like, well, cant help ya there.

No, Oregon has not won a National title, but they are damn close every year. TWOS is right on as usual. Memorial stadium suiuld be a cathedral an opponent is terrified to play in first and a museum of past glories second. We fired Frank, Bill and now we want Bo gone because none of them won us a National championship in three years. Dont sugarcoat it, thats the real reason. Forgige me if Im wrong but when was this a place you could come in and have huge success immidiately.

5 reasons to keep him 1- Promising talent on defense for the next 3 years playing as freshmen 2- Tenure....also its fricking October. Fire him now and we miss a bowl. 3 - He runs a clean ship. No worry about sanctions. Cant price that out. 4- Minnesota is actually a pretty decent team, players just didnt know that. 5- I really dont want to turn into a revolving door program. Bo seems pretty loyal.
