I'm not sure how much we'll find out. Last year our offensive line dominated all the mid-majors we played. So if they do it again this year, okay? But our defensive line was pushed around by even Southern Miss last year. So I do think we can learn something from this game about our defensive line. Well, yea. One would hope our DL will push them around for a change and I hope we see a breakthrough player or 2, whether it be Ankrah finally realizing his potential, Gregory as a stud, Val(I doubt it), Randle, whoever. Step up!

Most excited about Adam Taylor, I guess, assuming he sees action. T Newby too. Randy Gregory, yea. I think Santos will anchor the D which will be good. Anything positive from the D front would be a sight for sore eyes. That Alonzo Moore has my interest piqued as well. Oh yea, Westerkamp and Nathan Gerry. Cethan Carter?

Darlington made it worse by lowering his head into the defender. The defender was coming over to give him a big hit to the shoulder and Zack went at the defender trying to give him a hit. Yes, Darlington's head does whip against the ground, but he also took a good shot by the defender, when Zack decided to put his head down and take on the contact. When I saw the hit live, I thought "why the heck did he try to lower his head/shoulder against that kid". Yea, well, I thought the initial hit with the D guy they butted heads for a split second, but others here disagreed. The ground def looks like the culprit. It's like anything, though, some people are more prone to concussions than others and ZD might be one of those guys, much to our chagrin.

Well, it was head t head as far as I can tell, and this year in CFB they're gonna toss guys as per, 'The Kenny Bell Rule" and this hit was worse than Kenny's. Especially if its the QB getting hit. It was definitely not head to head. Showed the replay a couple times and it really wasn't even that close. Looked close to me, but looks like he wacked the back/side of his head on the ground pretty hard after the hit and that probably caused it. Not a good sign, appears he is concussion prone. Not a good sign at all... I suppose this year, the guy who did the head to head hit would be tossed out of the game. I wonder what the high school rules are in that regard.
