  1. If we don't include specialists then our average player rating would be 91.08, which would be 8th (Bama and PSU would still be ahead of us after the same adjustment).
  2. Winter is Coming on April 6. Then Spring is coming on April 12. Nice!
  3. The perceived strength of conferences is pretty important. It seems to be a major deciding factor in which teams go to the MNCG, and probably for the 4 team playoffs in the future as well. I am rooting for all the big ten teams for this reason.
  4. Well the article is about what we learned specifically in week 2. How much can you really learn from handing a team their 14th loss in a row? When it comes to those types of games, I say no news is good news.
  5. LOL @ Rainman The data I got from www.cfbstats.com. I downloaded it all and put in into a database, and from there its just a few SQL statements and a little bit of code. I'm teaching myself programming and databases right now and I've been messing around with all this cfb data a lot recently so it wasn't too much work for me at this point. I was a few beers deep but I don't think I made any errors. Here's the complete list of teams. Again, these are games in which the team gave up over 200 yards rushing: Rank | Team | Percentage Lost | Games Lost | Games Won 1 | TCU | 0.0% | 0 | 3 2 | Oregon | 22.2% | 2 | 7 3 | Tulsa | 22.2% | 2 | 7 4 | Boise State | 25.0% | 3 | 9 5 | Alabama | 33.3% | 1 | 2 6 | Oklahoma State | 37.5% | 3 | 5 7 | Oklahoma | 38.5% | 5 | 8 8 | Ohio | 41.7% | 5 | 7 9 | Utah | 44.4% | 4 | 5 10 | Virginia Tech | 46.2% | 6 | 7 11 | Air Force | 47.8% | 11 | 12 12 | Texas | 50.0% | 7 | 7 13 | Wisconsin | 50.0% | 4 | 4 14 | Ohio State | 50.0% | 4 | 4 15 | Fresno State | 50.0% | 16 | 16 16 | Georgia | 52.9% | 9 | 8 17 | Florida State | 54.5% | 6 | 5 18 | UCF | 57.1% | 4 | 3 19 | Nevada | 58.3% | 7 | 5 20 | Penn State | 60.0% | 6 | 4 21 | West Virginia | 60.0% | 3 | 2 22 | Houston | 60.7% | 17 | 11 23 | Texas Tech | 60.9% | 14 | 9 24 | Clemson | 62.5% | 10 | 6 25 | Ball State | 62.5% | 15 | 9 26 | Temple | 63.2% | 12 | 7 27 | Navy | 63.2% | 12 | 7 28 | Georgia Tech | 63.6% | 7 | 4 29 | South Carolina | 63.6% | 7 | 4 30 | Cincinnati | 63.6% | 7 | 4 31 | Rutgers | 64.3% | 9 | 5 32 | Baylor | 65.2% | 15 | 8 33 | Arkansas | 66.7% | 12 | 6 34 | Stanford | 66.7% | 8 | 4 35 | LSU | 66.7% | 2 | 1 36 | San Diego State | 68.4% | 13 | 6 37 | Auburn | 68.4% | 13 | 6 38 | Miami (Florida) | 68.4% | 13 | 6 39 | Western Michigan | 68.8% | 11 | 5 40 | Northern Illinois | 69.2% | 9 | 4 41 | Kansas State | 70.0% | 14 | 6 42 | Northwestern | 70.0% | 7 | 3 43 | Nebraska | 71.4% | 10 | 4 44 | Michigan State | 71.4% | 5 | 2 45 | Texas A&M | 72.2% | 13 | 5 46 | Louisiana-Lafayette | 72.2% | 13 | 5 47 | Michigan | 72.2% | 13 | 5 48 | BYU | 72.7% | 8 | 3 49 | Central Michigan | 73.7% | 14 | 5 50 | Florida International | 75.0% | 12 | 4 51 | Florida | 75.0% | 6 | 2 52 | Bowling Green | 76.0% | 19 | 6 53 | Toledo | 76.5% | 13 | 4 54 | Mississippi State | 76.9% | 10 | 3 55 | Arizona State | 76.9% | 10 | 3 56 | Wyoming | 76.9% | 20 | 6 57 | Connecticut | 77.8% | 7 | 2 58 | Pittsburgh | 77.8% | 7 | 2 59 | Middle Tennessee | 78.3% | 18 | 5 60 | Louisiana Tech | 78.6% | 11 | 3 61 | Troy | 78.6% | 11 | 3 62 | Hawai'i | 78.9% | 15 | 4 63 | SMU | 78.9% | 15 | 4 64 | East Carolina | 80.0% | 16 | 4 65 | Missouri | 80.0% | 8 | 2 66 | Florida Atlantic | 80.8% | 21 | 5 67 | Kentucky | 81.0% | 17 | 4 68 | Buffalo | 81.2% | 13 | 3 69 | California | 81.8% | 9 | 2 70 | Louisville | 81.8% | 9 | 2 71 | USC | 81.8% | 9 | 2 72 | UCLA | 82.1% | 23 | 5 73 | Syracuse | 82.4% | 14 | 3 74 | Iowa State | 83.3% | 20 | 4 75 | Army | 83.3% | 15 | 3 76 | South Florida | 83.3% | 5 | 1 77 | Wake Forest | 84.2% | 16 | 3 78 | Virginia | 84.2% | 16 | 3 79 | Maryland | 84.2% | 16 | 3 80 | Arkansas State | 84.6% | 11 | 2 81 | North Carolina State | 84.6% | 11 | 2 82 | UNLV | 84.8% | 28 | 5 83 | Marshall | 85.0% | 17 | 3 84 | Colorado State | 85.2% | 23 | 4 85 | Kent State | 85.7% | 12 | 2 86 | Southern Mississippi | 85.7% | 12 | 2 87 | Miami (Ohio) | 86.2% | 25 | 4 88 | Duke | 86.4% | 19 | 3 89 | Minnesota | 86.4% | 19 | 3 90 | UTEP | 86.7% | 26 | 4 91 | Tulane | 86.7% | 26 | 4 92 | Iowa | 87.5% | 7 | 1 93 | Arizona | 87.5% | 14 | 2 94 | North Carolina | 87.5% | 7 | 1 95 | Mississippi | 87.5% | 14 | 2 96 | Kansas | 88.0% | 22 | 3 97 | Purdue | 88.2% | 15 | 2 98 | Washington | 88.5% | 23 | 3 99 | Memphis | 88.9% | 16 | 2 100 | Tennessee | 88.9% | 16 | 2 101 | San Jose State | 88.9% | 24 | 3 102 | Vanderbilt | 89.5% | 17 | 2 103 | UAB | 90.0% | 18 | 2 104 | North Texas | 90.9% | 20 | 2 105 | Notre Dame | 90.9% | 10 | 1 106 | New Mexico State | 91.4% | 32 | 3 107 | New Mexico | 92.3% | 24 | 2 108 | Akron | 92.9% | 26 | 2 109 | Utah State | 94.1% | 16 | 1 110 | Rice | 94.4% | 17 | 1 111 | Idaho | 94.7% | 18 | 1 112 | Colorado | 95.8% | 23 | 1 113 | Indiana | 95.8% | 23 | 1 114 | Washington State | 96.8% | 30 | 1 115 | Eastern Michigan | 96.8% | 30 | 1 116 | Western Kentucky | 100.0% | 23 | 0 117 | Illinois | 100.0% | 17 | 0 118 | Boston College | 100.0% | 10 | 0 119 | Massachusetts | 100.0% | 10 | 0 120 | Texas State | 100.0% | 8 | 0 121 | Louisiana-Monroe | 100.0% | 12 | 0 122 | South Alabama | 100.0% | 3 | 0 123 | Oregon State | 100.0% | 17 | 0 124 | UTSA | 100.0% | 1 | 0
  6. Hey everyone, first post here. I hope I didn't mess this up but I calculated how often each team loses when giving up 200 yards rushing from 2008-2012. Nebraska came in tied at 43rd with Mich St at 71.4% of those games being losses. I really need to go to bed but I can post the entire list of teams and their percentages tomorrow if anyone is interested..
