  1. Umm..I saw Debbie Wass Schultz all over this topic earlier today. I guess if you don't consider her a part of the left, there is not much you can be convinced of. Focus. Your claim is that the "left" made this an issue. Now, re-read my statement, above. Consider, for a moment the fact that there would be NO issue if there had been NO plagiarism, and then realize why your response is so wrong. Listen (since you seem to like very direct approaches as a debating style by using words like focus a lot)...what you are suggesting makes sense in the context that the left did not make Melania's speech last night. So taking your thought process further, are you willing to state that the right did not make the Benghazi situation an "issue" since HIllary is the one who was in charge of the state department and had multiple missteps? Would you agree with that?
  2. That's astounding! Why hasn't anyone mentioned this before? In addition, ISIS is a GLOBAL problem. You can't seriously hold the US President completely accountable for them. Most enemies the US has faced over the years are global enemies. Reagan came in and dealt with the Soviet Union head on in a very direct and aggressive way. After the 9/11 wakeup call for the US, George Bush spent his entire time in office focused on keeping this country safe, including taking the fight to the terrorists overseas. Nobody is saying we need to repeat Iraq, but the general principal of going on the offense against terrorism in a broader way is what Obama should have been doing. Instead, he has taken a very weak approach to fighting terrorism, and even called ISIS a JV squad which shows how inept Obama is at even understanding who the enemy is and what they are capable of. I wonder today if he would still call them a JV squad. And while every single issue can be deflected to say that the entire blame can't be attributed to just one person/President, that's how this stuff works. Had Obama done a good job in fighting terrorism, he would be taking all the credit even though it would have been a result of many people.
  3. In addition to Rudy's great speech last night, Milwaukee County Sheriff also gave a rousing speech that should not be overlooked.

  5. That's astounding! Why hasn't anyone mentioned this before? Lol..well the truth is the truth...it's hard for the biggest Obama and Hillary defenders to get around this fact.
  6. Wow, something I actually agree with you on. I brought up the idea that many of my coworkers and friends are concerned about the society we are living in now and how they fear for their children, and have been blatantly attacked for suggesting such a thing. I have not once attacked others for their parental choices and do agree that they should stop posting on here if that is how low they will go.
  7. Wow, do we live in the same country. Your posts are comical at least. 1. Hillary collaborated well in the Senate with Republicans. Please name me 2 or 3 key pieces of legislation she cosponsored that were signed into law? 2. What specific obstructionism has the GOP conducted the last 7 years that has resulted in the rise of ISIS and terror attacks in general? Or put another way, what plan did Obama put forward to prevent terrorism that the GOP blocked? 3. How can Obama be kicking the terrorists ass when the number of attacks has exploded worldwide, and ISIS has grown by 4400% under his watch according to his own CIA director, who also stated that ISIS was decimated when Bush left office? 4. Regarding the VA scandal, its a joke to once again blame Republicans for Obama's failures. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to google Obama and VA and find that Obama has failed our veterans time and again. http://www.newsmax.com/FastFeatures/barack-obama-scandal-veterans/2014/12/21/id/613896/ http://spectator.org/63393_va-scandal-linked-obama/ 5. Regarding Obamacare, Democrats realize this is a failed program and the American public still does not like it. So the only course of action is to continue to point back to a handful of GOP Senators in 1992 that proposed something that somewhat mimics Obamacare, but was frankly an ingenuous effort at the time to offer an opposition to Hillarycare. I've read up plenty on this proposal as its the only way out a leftist has when trying to defend the Obamacare debacle, and there's no meat there. You have fallen for the typical leftist approach of relying on some study from the early 90s to align blame for a failed program that Obama and the Dems forced upon the American people. 6. Regarding anger, I seem to recall from 2006 to 2008 the Dems using a lot of fear and anger about the Iraq war to try to win back Congress and the Presidency. They were organizing protests, having moms of soldiers come out and speak, etc.. I recall in 2012 the Dems putting an ad out showing Paul Ryan driving granny off the cliff insinuating that the GOP was going to get rid of social security. It's completely dishonest to suggest that only one party uses anger and fear during elections. Both parties do it as they seek an emotional response to drive up turnout.
  8. I'm scared for your kids' development of social skills growing up under such a paranoid parent. Wow do you not have kids? I have heard from many parents with kids our age saying the exact same thing about the world we live in right now. Being cautious and protective with them has no bearing on their social development whatsoever no matter what belief system you subscribe to. That's EXACTLY what it will do. If you keep your kids away from the "Big Ol' Mean City" and crowds of people, they will develop the same backward mindset that people of other colors, heritages, orientations, beliefs, etc, are going to all do them harm. Then no one learns. No one listens. And everyone becomes a Republican. Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about. My kids are currently in some of the most racially diverse schools in our area, and have plenty of exposure to broad points of view. You sound like an elitist liberal who thinks they know better about how children should be raised in our society. Its the mindset that anybody who may not agree with gay marriage, owning guns, etc...must somehow be backwards or a redneck. I'll tell you what is backwards...a Democratic party that has been hijacked by far left followers who push and promote divisiveness along racial lines and against cops for the false claim that its all about criminal justice, and then refuses to accept and responsibility when police officers are being shot all across the nation.
  9. I have 2 kids under 10. I live in a big city. Every weekend we seem to go somewhere where there are large crowds (baseball game, soccer game, amusement park, etc). I have never thought that I shouldn't go to one of these places because I might get lit up by some wacko carrying an AK. I guess I am a bad parent. Hey, I'm not the one criticizing your parenting...you are the one that that is guilty of criticizing me. If you want to do that, so be it. And yes, I will take my son to his 2nd Nebraska game this year, but the point is that I, along with nearly every parent I know that has kids of a similar age, have made comments in the past year that its a much scarier world out there, and the thought has crossed their mind on what they would do whether they are at disney, at a large festival in a city, or other crowded venues. How many kids were killed in Nice just last week watching fireworks which is a family event. These crazy terrorists don't care who they kill as long as they maximize the number of lives they can impact.
  10. Haha...or we could see Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, or better yet Louis Farrakhan introduce Hillary next week. That would be in alignment with the Democrats support for an organization such as BLM that has advocated the killing of cops. And guess what...another police officer has been shot in Kansas City.
  11. Nice deflection. This is quite comical and on point for the left right to demonize deflect what a very strong and classy speech Michelle Obama wrote and presented in 2008 and that was stolen and repeated by Melania Trump gave. The overall night was strong with Rudys speech being so on point for how most Americans are feeling right now with the unease across this country. And let's not forget Obama has reused speeches before as shown here. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jul/19/short-history-political-plagiarism-melania-trump Corrected for accuracy on the Internet... Lol...you are falling right in line with your wonderful party trying to demonize any females that speak on behalf of a conservative. This happened with Fiorina earlier in the primary cycle too. Leftists attack any woman that doesn't fall in line with their beliefs. Who cares if a few lines were similar...Michelle Obama should be flattered. The left has done a good job of trying to make this an issue and deflect from what was a very good night of pointing out the Obama/Hillary failures to keep this country safe. Average voters tuning in aren't going to care about this nitpicking and are going to most likely remember that Melania was completely classy, and Rudy completely dissected the Obama/Clinton failures over the past 7 years.

  13. Lol...I already responded to Zoogs that if you want to see the clown show watch the DNC circus next week.
  14. I believe the question was: what more do you need beyond multiple Republican investigations that basically absolved her? What piece of evidence do you have that those committees of her most fervent detractors missed? And how could that happen? And yet again, how does your standard for honesty and accountability apply to the many politicians who proceeded Hillary Clinton? Because we could prosecute dozens of f'ers if you were willing to open your outrage to all political parties. The committees did not miss anything...it was well reported that she did not act in the year leading up to the attacks despite the requests, and that she was not truthful in the statements she made about blaming the video for the attack. As for trying to claim Hillary is just like the rest of them, that is not a good defense. Her team tries using that when they realize there is nothing else they can do. Nearly all politicians are sleazy at times, just as Obama lied when trying to sell Obamacare to the public. But that Obama lie does not compare to the volume and seriousness of Hillarys lies over and over.

  16. Well you better get ready as next week you will feel like you are at the circus with a fight over who can be the greatest clown.
  17. Yes, she did a very nice job and was very classy. I'm sure Bill's speech as the spouse of the nominee will have a different tone to it.
  18. I'm sure Bill is awfully jealous after watching Melania right now...he's like, "what, I have to go to bed with Hillary, and Donald gets this chick."
  19. I know we've seen a variety of polling on battleground states, but this is the first I have seen that tracks key battleground counties from recent elections. http://axiomstrategies.com/abc/#polling
  20. Wow, Rudy is lighting it up. I don't think I've ever seen him more passionate giving a speech. I realize all primetime convention speakers should be good, regardless if they are at the DNC or RNC, but he's doing an exceptional job pointing out how Obama has not kept us safe.
  21. Anderson Cooper tried to call him out on it numerous times in the debates, and Megyn Kelly kinda tried - you're right though, they need to not let him off the hook. I'd love to see another Katie Couric/Sarah Palin like interview. That really opened up some eyes about her lack of knowledge I think. Trump just won't allow himself to be put in a situation like that .. .that is why he bans certain reporters or papers in his pressers. Which in and of itself should be something of note. If I were an adviser for Trump, I would tell him to take it easy on the media exposure as you are bound to mess up. With that said, Hillary should be doing more interviews and press conferences. She is so timid and weak when it comes to dealing with tough questions. It's likely because everytime she does a 1/1 interview, she screws up bigtime, like claiming she and Bill were dirt poor after he left the White House, or the time she told the CBS anchor that she always tries to tell the truth...that was classic Hillary.
  22. You are spot on...it is a worrisome time to be alive. I have two kids under 10 and am scared to take them to large cities or places with large crowds. Why would any military officer have any trust in Hillary given she cannot follow the rules and keep confidential information secure. I'm with this CIA ops guy as I don't love Trump, but when compared to Hillary, it makes the decision a bit easier.
  23. Well I think that applies to Obama, Trump and Hillary. After the MN and LA shootings Hillary immediately spoke about whites not understanding black lives...and after the Oregon shooting last year Obama went on a rant 3 hours after the shooting took place about gun control...this was before all the facts were known about the killer, and also before family members even knew if their loved ones were killed. So i agree in principle but its innaccurate to claim only Trump does this. My point about yesterday is that Hillary does not need to wait 10 hours to issue a show of sympathy, and there is a point where waiting too long such as with the Benghazi security request signals dereliction of her core duty as sos. If you're not talking about white people not understanding black lives, then you have no grasp of the actual issue. If you think that indicates support for black people killing cops, you have no intention of understanding the issue. If you still think there's something shocking and incriminating about Benghazi, there's no talking you out of anything. Wow, if you really believe HIllary did nothing wrong as it relates to Benghazi, that says a lot about you and your perspective on a host of issues. If you really believe Obama has not widened the racial divide and help encourage the anti-cop movement in this country, there's no talking you out of anything. It began when he called the police stupid back in 2009 when someone called 9/11 because his black buddy was trying to break down his own door. And at every moment since that time, he has made any sort of black on white issue about black victimization and assumed the police were always wrong, yet has ignored cases where black americans have killed or tried to injure cops. Obama has never put forward a fair approach to this topic and has let his personal biases get in the way which has helped lead to BLM, Ferguson, and the killing of cops. http://spectator.org/the-road-to-dallas/ 1) What more can you possibly want beyond multiple Republican-led investigations that concluded Hillary Clinton did nothing actionably wrong as it relates to Benghazi? Jesus, dude, you sound like a chem trail enthusiast. But to be fair, let's take your criteria for irresponsible, possibly treasonous politicians, apply it across the board, and prosecute them all. Seriously. I'd be down with that. 2) You are wrong in virtually everything you are blaming on Obama, perhaps due to your terrible choice of news sources, perhaps in what you choose to overlook. I could pull up reams of public pronouncements from Obama in which he did the opposite of what you claim. You could, too. If I'm using your math, nobody is supposed to point out the disparity between the treatment of blacks and whites in this country because it makes people angry. Obama has done a pretty remarkable job of navigating the issue. Obama did not call the police stupid back in 2009. He called an individual policeman's actions stupid, because they were. Then he invited everyone to have a beer together, which they did. Case closed. Moving on. Unless, of course, you want to keep dredging it up, remembering it inaccurately, and shifting the blame for America's racial divisiveness to the uppity colored guy. Did you actually read what Obama stated in 2009. He said "the police acted stupidly." It's right there in plain site, but you probably are choosing to overlook the realities that this nation is much less safe and much more divided today than it was when Obama took office. As I stated in early June when you asked me what his top failures were in office, two of the four I referenced were his failures in fighting terrorism, and his failures in dealing with race relations. Since that time, we've had Orlando, Nice, Dallas, Baton Rouge, etc...all in a matter of 4 weeks. As for Hillary, if you believe that lying about what she said as it relates to the attack, the lies she told the families and American people about the attack, as well as her failure to provide more security after repeated requests in the year leading up to the attack, so be it.
  24. Here's a funny cartoon pertaining to the current division in this country.
