  1. I'm sorry...I can't hold it in any longer. This whole theory on "what if a player get hurt during a tackling drill in practice" is absurd to me. I don't know about all of the NCAA rules, but the Huskers are proof positive that more live tackling in practice is needed. This is football people. I'm not going to go to the "back in my day" BS but tackling is arguably THE most important fundamental in the game. Practice it...as often as the rules allow you to. Prepare your players for the battle. I've never been to a practice but it sounds to me like everyday is a walk-through. And we wonder why they can't tackle and play so soft on Saturdays.
  2. I respect this from TO. All of this talk about a stupid tape from 2 years ago is a huge distraction from the real issue of Bo's product on the field, which was on full display last Saturday. I will continue to support the Huskers as I always have and always will. Hopefully we will come out and dominate SDSU on Saturday for 4 quarters. GBR
  3. I get a kick out of these people that say no coach will want to coach Nebraska if they fire Bo. Okay...Mr. Doomsday. Thanks for that pearl of wisdom. Coaches are (generally speaking) not a timid bunch. The opportunity to become the head football coach at the University of Nebraska would generate more than a few qualified applicants. Nebraska might even hit the jackpot and hire a coach who wont hire his friends and family to ride his coat-tails; humiliate his players publicly; consistantly under perform against ranked opponents; make inapropriate comments against the Husker Nation and former players; and last but not least, taint he image of Nebraska Football on a national level. So, please tell...what is YOUR definition of a "scrub of a coach"?
