I still wouldn't be worried. I mean seriously, what is the point of attending a camp to a school you not only already have an offer from, but have already committed to. I think it's great that he is planning to come and it will help him to get more comfortable with the program and coaches, but when you already have an offer, attending the camp is not really a "must" Regardless, I will continue to "hope I'm right" and anyone that believes he is going elsewhere can keep "hoping their wrong." I will say it again, Bryce decommitting worries me as much as Steinkuhler, which is absolutely NONE!

First of all, I wasn't starting any rumors about Steinkuhler, I am 0% worried about him decommitting as I am about Bryce. Secondly, for those that believe that quote isn't from Bryce, that's fine, but I very much believe it is from him and have plenty of reason to. I obviously can't proove it (although can anything posted on a message board really be proven?) but like I said before, I am not worried in the SLIGHTEST about Bryce decommitting. If you want to worry, fine be my guest, but in the end he will be in and all you will have to show for it is a couple extra wrinkles.

Your a Horses @$$, I wasn't even talking about BC just pointing out all the success like Coach Mack Brown has had recruiting the best class and not doing much with it, other than one NC. Broderick really comes off as a "back in the day" kind of guy. I think wants everything to be exactly like it was when he was here because that's how he remembers it and thinks it should be. He also seems like a pretty arrogant person (which, as I recall, he was while he was a player). And what about his deal with wanting Osborne to be AD. The reason he gives for this is that, well Devaney was AD, so Osborne should be too. Sorry, BT, that's not a reason (at least not a good or even sensical one). TO decided to leave football, that was his choice. He was an awesome coach, but the fact is he has been out of college athletics for too long to jump back into things like he never left. Things change, we can remember and honor the past, but if you start living in it, you are going to get left behind. I'll thank Broderick (and other former players) for his time and effort he/they gave to the program, but things change, that may take you out of your comfort zone, but thats life. You have to move on, you can either get on board or not, it's your choice, but simply want things the way they were "back in the day" because that's how you remember them, isn't a good enough reason.

Nobody "dominates" people anymore like we used to. I think that's some of the problem with the fan base (nobody here in particular, just in general). A lot of people are thinking "well we dominated in 95, why the heck can't we now/again." The fact is, teams just don't "dominate" anymore. Look at the top tier teams right now: USC - lost to both Oregon State and UCLA last year; beat Washington (5-7) by 6. Florida - lost to Auburn by 10 (the same Auburn we lost to by 3) as well as only beating the juggernaut Vanderbilt (4-8) by 6. Ohio State - blown out by Florida in the NC game; beat Illinois (2-10) by 7. College football isn't the same as it was even 10 years ago. Times have changed, nobody "dominates" anymore and to expect teams to is just unrealistic.

Oh, and I'll also add that the main reason Sam Keller came to Nebraska was because of Bill Callahan. I guess we'll see after this season how good of a "get" that turns out to be.

Callahan already landed a highly rated QB, his name was Harrison Beck. Just because he didn't pan out doesn't make it any less of a recruiting "get" He also managed to get the #1 rated JUCO QB (who has 4 years to play 3) last year. Not to mention Patrick Witt, who may end up being the best of the lot. I'm not sure why this is BC's "big chance" seeing as he's already shown the ability to land top flight QB's, but whatever. I would definitely love to get Blaine, but to say he would be the first "highly rated" QB is just plain wrong. Beck was a bust, but yes, we got a top rated guy in Beck. A JUCO qb is not a freshman "get". Witt was not a highly rated or sought after guy by many teams , although he may turn out OK. As an example, Pinkel has gotten better qbs (although he can't coach them) than Cally has since he has been here and that is disturbing given the program and facility at Mizzou. If he gets Blaine it will indeed be sad for us once again. I expect Blaine to land at Alabama with Saban. He only has one less year of eligibility than a high school kid. I disagree 100% I think it was much more the poor safety play that made the corners look bad. The safety's job (in most instances) is to help the corners, that simply didn't happen. Plus, Shanle took the worst angles and refused to put a hit on anyone. Not to bash Andrew, cause I'm sure he gave it his all, but it wasn't the corners fault that he refused to hit anyone and was often out of position.

The fact is, Solich never recruited a RB that got drafted. You can choose to blame whoever, or whatever you like, but for a team that had just come off winning 3 national championships and was KNOWN FOR running the football, to not have a single RB drafted is pretty sad. It's undeniable that once Solich took over the offense, it became a system that didn't produce NFL caliber recruits. Osborne's offense wasn't going to produce alot of NFL QB's or WR's but it churned out the RB's, OL, and FB. Solich and his staff did a good job of getting defensive talent, but the offense became brutal. Crouch was a band-aid and was able to overcome the deficiencies, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what happened after he graduated. For as tough as Lord was, he wasn't a very good quarterback. And say what you want about Dailey being forced into a system he couldn't run, but I don't think he would have made a good QB in any system. And he being moved to WR at UNC pretty much backs up my opinion. Offensive recruiting tanked under Solich, that's just a fact and while players drafted isn't the only (or even best) way of proving this, it certainly does show up.

I could see Andrew getting picked up as a non-drafted free agent. He has good speed and a good build. He would play ONLY on special teams, but he showed he was decent at punt coverage in college. He will not be a safety in the NFL, he just doesn't have the instincts. I think the Saints have shown interest because his brother, Scott plays for them. As far as the mock draft goes, I've never seen a mock draft come even close to getting the first round right, let alone all the way to the 6th.

Latest I've heard is while he liked Alabama, it's still between us and Mizzou. I think early on it was a forgone conclusion that he was going to Mizzou, but we really impressed him. At this point I could see this one going either way. I would still put Mizzou in the lead, but not by much.

Marlon will get drafted, mark my words. Could be after this season, could be after next season, regardless he will be a first day pick. Doesn't do much good to debate it now as we won't know for at least a year, but when all is said and done, he will be drafted.
