  1. Yes, http://www.bourbonenthusiast.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21. I'll do shots of fireball anytime!
  2. Must be hard to stand up on your own on that field? Haha
  3. Would love to beat either of these teams in the B1G championship game.
  4. IMO yesterday was the most nearly complete game the skers have played over the course of the last couple. Then again the booze was flowing pretty well.
  5. Florida Atlantic - Win McNeese State - Win @ Fresno State - Win Miami - Win Illinois - Win @ Michigan State - Win @ Northwestern - Win Rutgers - Win Purdue - Win @ Wisconsin - Win Minnesota - Win @ Iowa - Win Easy W's from FAU, McNeese, Fresno, Illinois, Rutgers and Purdue. Miami will be challenging but I'd like to think we can beat them especially in Lincoln. No way we drop 2 in a row to either Michigan State or Minnesota. Northwestern loses Colter which only helps, but who really knows how these games will turn out. The Wisconsin game will be extremely difficult and very close. I hope our experience with close games favors us in Madison. Finally, we should never lose to Iowa. The only team that I would consider better than us on this schedule could possibly be Michigan State.
  6. Elite 8 also mainly cuz im biased. I honestly couldn't care less about the bracket I was really just looking forward to the Huskers play.
  7. Bo's or Tom's or Bob's...don't care who the coach is, I so long to have another scary D. Think of names like Glover, Dutton, Wistrom, Sandman, Polk, Suh and on and on...those guys were just plain terrifying to opponents I imagine. Just watched a youtube highlight video of Carlos Polk, to the tune of "Hall of the Mountain King". On more than one play, it looks like the runner just give up and stops rather than getting hit. That's the kind of scary I want to see. Not dirty, just clean and clearly violent. I agree. A feared defense again would be a dream come true.
  8. I look forward to the defense this season as well. Most of the younger guys have some decent experience from last year and the dline will wreak some more havoc. Hopefully our O improves on turnovers while putting up some early leads against the tougher teams allowing the D to play with a more aggressive approach. Bo's defenses can be scary good when we rush the passer well.
  9. Disappointing loss but in regards to the season as a whole, which isn't finished yet, expectations have been exceeded.
  10. 2008- I didn't have the chance to watch many games this year, but afterwards the football program was more stable with some positive momentum. 2009- Vast improvement on defense, below average offense. B12 game was amazing and slipped right from our hands. The holiday bowl built positive momentum in the direction of the offense and even tho Suh was leaving I didn't expect too much decline 2010- Martinez explodes outta nowhere, running wild until the unfortunate injury against mizzou. A disappointing end to the season letting the B12 title game slip away once again and the uninterested team losing the holiday bowl 2011- New conference with preseason picks to win it. Some bad losses but shined bright against a top 10(I think)Mich St team. All leading to another 4 loss season 2012- Wild season with multiple comebacks. I knew Wisconsin would be a tough team to beat once again but obviously nobody expected the B1G title game to play out like it did. Ended with another disappointing bowl loss to an amazing Georgia team. 2013- I expected Martinez too be as sharp as ever this past season, which he kinda was during his minimal playing time minus Minnesota. Finally we end the season on a high note with a young team winning the gator bowl. I would gladly take any of those Bo Pelini coached seasons over a .500 or below record. I believe the football team has momentum equal to after the 2009 season. The defense had showed great improvement. Our guys need to focus more on keeping the turnovers to a minimum because that's what absolutely has been killing us. I hope in 2014 can be a breakout year for Nebraska football.
  11. The bubble hasn't burst at all. As bad as a loss is, this is the 11th time it's happened to this team. It's happened before. Displayed during the 5 gm winning streak was confidence and a true standout player emerged. I think this team has enough fight to pick themselves up.
  12. Plenty of basketball left. If that 5 game winning streak didn't happen I'm not sure if I would care about this loss as much as I do. Tim miles is bringing excitement for husker mens basketball and he hasn't completed his second year here.
  13. Need some shots to fall this upcoming half, looking cold out there
  14. Big time lurker here. The men's bball team is exciting this year! GBR
