  1. That alone is more 4* recruits than most Pelini classes had holistically.
  2. Ok, let us put this Pelini QB dilemma to bed already. The problem with the last regime was the inability to develop, and properly assess quarterbacks. The best QB they had was not even considered a qb when he was recruited, that alone is telling on the overall assessment of who they were going after in qb recruits. Green was awful and looked like a deer in head lights every time he took a snap. Lee, was not even suppose to be a starter. I want to know why on earth did the last staff not even consider recruiting a kid who was a natural passer? we had a running game, all we needed was someone to manage the offense and not put us in terrible situations like T magic.
  3. I'm of this view. However, since I believe we will be 7-5 or 8-4 I have a more negative view towards us keeping any recruiting momentum going. As in the Pelini years, I think we will miss out on some of the potential "gems" in the class (nothing implied toward KJJ or Gebbia). Thank you for gracing us with your cognizant ability to analyze the 2016 season long before it begins. However, what most of us don't understand is that these kids are not dying to play for Nebraska like you or I would be. However, that sentiment more than likely holds true for most programs. What Nebraska does provide though, is the ability to show recruits what a program looks like with tradition, and a passionate fan base. Coach Riley unequivocally is building something special. Tommy is a senior, and our offense should be light years ahead of where they were last season. Don't count out anybody before the season begins, look at what Iowa did last year. Riley's teams showed me something I had not seen since 2000. A football team that played hard, and was in every game. Shoot, Nebraska should have won 11 games last season, were it not for bad luck. I don't know what the record will be, but I know this team can go no where but up.
  4. Does anybody recall when Abdullah was talking about how Newby was the truth? Newby reminds me of a lot of kids I played hockey with. Some practiced really well, and looked good in drills. But in a game, they were never meeting expectations. I hope Newby has a good senior campaign, but he is going to need to learn to play more free, and decisive.
  5. forgive my ignorance....but what is a beliber? i've apparently missed that term before now.Apparently they are the same Bolivers and Beliebers are in love with figures that are totally insane and irrational. boliebers= Bo Pelini fans Beliebers= Justin Beber fans You have 12 posts in 2 years, but half of them are petulant rants about Pelini or KB you made just today -- and most of those were in a thread about practicing more tolerance and less drama. Are you off your meds? Chill out brother, we are all husker fans here that's all that matters. Any ways you are right, I was trying to be funny. On a more serious note, Pearljam Perlman stepping down should alleviate a lot of the drama that has plagued our program for the last fifteen years. It is rather interesting to think what sort of decisions Perlman could have made that would have put the direction of the football program in a much better direction.

  7. I don;t really know all that much about how the process enfolded, but it would seem that for transparency and objectivity, the Universities should have voted on this.
  8. I concur. There needs to be more impartiality as to how the NCAA approaches things. For example, why did Southern Cal, and Ohio State get reprimanded much more severely than Ole Miss?
  9. Harbaugh didn't do anything that hadn't been happening for a while. For instance, Riley had been doing them in California for years while he was at Oregon State. The difference is, Harbaugh attracts attention. Harbaugh went way over the top and garnished far too much attention. Going to IMG was not necessary, Riley and other coaches were affiliating with other smaller programs on their campuses. These camps were exposing our coaches to under the radar talent. IMG is known to have talent, and all those prospects are already on peoples radars.
  10. Well that is bull... I think Harbaugh can personally be blamed for going over the top
  11. Drama on a message board is astronomically different than a former player putting the AD department on blast all over twitter... just saying
  12. I can see somebody didn't read the article. Oh i read it, I just am not ready to absolve KB just yet. A grown man should act like a man, and not a pre-teenwhoe got upset because daddy praised his big brother for doing a better job at something.
  13. I have absolutely no qualms about what Perlman said about Bo. Was it a bit pugnacious and childish? ya, but Pelini was a snake. Pelini tried his damnedest to cultivate an unhealthy environment in the locker room when he left. Pelini was Trump, blamed everyone else for the problems in the program, and called his adversaries names. Perlman was a god send getting rid of that ticking time bomb.
  14. I thought the Peter brothers identified College as an institution to inflict assaults on women? JK... But in all seriousness it is hard to overlook that under HP tutelage, athletics seemed to have taken a back seat. I really felt like after 2003, football had taken a step back from being ground zero of the University.
  15. No drama huh? Well I find it pretty darn funny that all the drama that fell on the Huskers is mostly due to Bo Pelini, and his former players. I remember the big12 championship game against Texas and thought my god, the Huskers are going to be a national relevant team again. And the next thing you know, Bo Pelini self imploded, and no matter what his record was, he never could build a team that was viable and competed when it mattered. With that being said, Pelini's former player are getting their panties in a bunch because of some records that were set by questionable standards. You know Kenny you gave a lot to the University, but you also received a lot. You were able to get a FREE education. You were able to eat, sleep, and play a game you love all on the Universities dime. Maybe Kenny should stop being so detrimental to the program that gave him a chance, and respect the direction that it is going. Boyd should never be questioned on his prowess of weigh lifting. Especially by a 6-2 150 lbs receiver.
  16. Can anybody post a video of the 2014 spring game? or at least some highlights that do not include Pelini and a cat
