I think your way off base. Callahan is the problem and he is to egotistical to do it any other way than his, even if it means losing every game. I still am amazed the first season he took a QB recruited to play option football, a offensive line that at least knew how to block for the run and completely switched over to the west coast offense. Wouldn't someone with half a brain use the talent you have and make a slower, smoother transition? Not Cally, the result is we go from 10 wins to 5 wins and all at the helm of an offensive genius. He has made getting embarrassed a new tradition. We are so much worse off with him. Shall he stay?As long as you like getting your butts kicked week in and week out, he could concievably allow someone to hang a 100 on us in the future. Good bye and good riddance.

I'm not offended,, we are that bad. I think Callahan was a worse decision than new Coke. You r QB is a stud and the type of Qb we will be getting when Cally leaves. Yep, you're right, I'm sure USF does have some kind of tradition. Of course, USF ranks number 117 on the NCAA all time wins list, whereas Colorado ranks 15th. Maybe it's just me, but I think there just MIGHT be some tiny shreds of history and tradition that Colorado has gained over USF during their additional 583 wins. For the sake of providing a frame of reference, Nebraska ranks 3rd, Texas 4th, Oklahoma 8th, A&M 19th, Florida 27th, Miami 53rd, and Kansas State 91st. It wasn't a knock on Colorado, lol. I'm sure Colorado has plenty of tradition since it's been around so long. But their tradition certainly isn't "storied" unless you live inside Colorado's borders. Nothing wrong with that, it's just how it is. HEY I live in Colorado and I ain't seen no storied tradition in Boulder, the only people enamored with CU are the buffaloes. But lets just let em think their special,, after all their gonna kick our ass in a few weeks just like every one else in the big 12.

It will take time but our cupboard isn't bare, we have talent on our team. We have had several good top 20 recruiting classes (depending on who's opinion you listen to) This should have been Cally's breakout year but unfortuately in order to make up for the poor coaching NO ONE COULD POSSIBLY HAVE THAT MUCH TALENT. I think if we can get some real coaches in there our improvements might surprise quite a few. Just my opinion,,,, but dang it scrap the WCO and get back to our bread and butter, give us back our walk ons and our heart and we'll be ready to once again play FOR Nebraska.

At this point you should be dead and out of your misery,, if not,,,, TO would never say he was God. If he was anything he was one humble man. As for Callahan he is no Tom Osbourne, he's not even a Frank Solich. Tom built a great legacy and set a lot of records, Callahan is helping erase those records.

we paid and we watched, we are fans even when pederson named cally as coach and even when cally went to that awesome west coast offense we saw today. we will be fans tomorrow and i love these husker players, i'm convinced we do have some very talented kids. i'm also convinced oakland raider magic has come to lincoln via cally. i'm for a change, yesterday would be good but not practicle. turner would do a good job, and he is a husker thru and thru just like the rest us dudes on this web site.

It ain't happening bro, we have been through so much but the big thing is we have deep deep ties in the state of Nebraska and it never leaves you.
