  1. Ordered my tix yesterday. Driving from Nashville. Freakin Pumped already.
  2. I love wearing Husker gear in Tennessee. The nice thing about the SEC is nobody really hates the Huskers. However, most Vol fans remember the games in 97 and 00 but there seems to me mutual respect. We do get some honks driving around (we have a red N sticker) but they are all Husker fans.
  3. I could give a rats butt about Rivals.com.
  4. Sweet. My Ncard looks like the current one but I might buy a ticket just in case. Has there been any official word on time? I read somewhere that it might be switched to a night game.
  5. I live in Nashville but I'm coming up for the spring game. Does anybody know when they go on sale? I've still got my ID from 2006 so I'm hoping to have my brother or sister (who are students) will pick me up some student tickets. Are there any differences between student and public tickets? I can't wait until fall! Thanks a lot.
  6. That would be pretty cool. My brother and sisters Guard patch is pretty sweet. It has a corn cob in the middle. here's a link http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/m..._1975_273791951
  7. While we're at it, Let's go back to the old herbie. The one we had before byrne roided him out!
  8. Can somebody here with a decent photoshop program make me a skull and crossbones wallpaper. I was looking for a very simple black wallpaper with the white skull and crossbones. maybe something written below like Blackshirts or something. I would much appreciate it and I'm sure lots of other would too. Something like the black flags. Thanks.
  9. I thought I was watching a texas game. I think we should just keep things the same. Don't mess with what works.
  10. Home field gives you 3-7 so this game basically is a push in Vegas. I would have to say that the Buff D is down due to injury and Ganz and co. have never been more confident. Plus, Calahan will play the ones all day long and stretch the field just like K-State. Big red by 21.
  11. He's in Southwest Iowa now. Glenwood in fact. I see him at least once a week....usually at "The Oasis" (a little restaurant/bar in town) on Friday nights - that's when they have their prime rib. I met Kenny Walker at a Broncos training camp in the early 90's. All the players would walk from the cafeteria to the practice field and we would stand there along the sidwalk and try to get some autographs. My brothers and I were wearing husker gear (as we did most every day) and Kenny went way out of his way to come over and meet us. I was probably 10 and he was the biggest guy I'd ever seen. He hung out for a while and we talked husker ball, he was pretty good at reading our lips. I'm going to have to try and find his signed football card now.
  12. Well I'll always remember Brook Beringer filling in for injured Tommie and then unselfishly letting Tommie play in the biggest game of the year. Everybody knew he earned the chance to start and play that National Championship game but he said whatever's best for the team. That's husker spirit. As far as who was the most fun to watch, ANY full back from the 90's. Power ball baby!!!!!!
  13. Does anybody else just crack up everytime they play the Damon Benning intro bumper on Unsportsmanlike Conduct? When the high pitched voice says "touchdoooowwwn" I about pee myself. Hilarious! BTW, the situation is soo bad the the Colorado fan that I work with has stopped making fun of the Huskers out of pity. It's real bad.
