T.O. as interm A.D. Joe Glenn from Wyoming as head coach. He won two national championships at UNC in Greeley and his Wyoming team is doing very well with lots less talent than we have. He has beaten Virginia this year as well as TCU last night. He has only one stipulation in his contract and that is if Husker nation needs him. WE NEED HIM. He is a very good coach.

That streak is all that remains of Husker football, we haven't seen Husker football played in 4 years. The tickets are already sold and as the fellow true blue husker fans have pointed out the few tickets that might get put up for sale will be grabbed up by us fans who know what Husker football is all about. I don't think our streak will end, just the streak of pride, determination, we don't rebuild we just reload etc. Those things are gone and only a new change from AD down through the coaches will bring it back. It can come back cause we are Huskers.

The head coach is responsible of all facets of his program. That is why he is the head coach. Poor coaching is evident, you want to give him two more years? Your more generous than I am. Al Davis knows a dud when he sees one and so do I. The entire Raider nation knows what we are learning. He raped our program and we are paying the price. We will probably not win another game this year, time will tell but I don't see one game that I believe a Callahan coached team could win. That is the realilty of where we are.

Firing BC a mistake, there is only one team we could realistically beat and that is a Callahan coached Oakland Raider team. He must go,,,,,,,,, or husker football will be dead forever and just a memory. We have no offense, no deffense. No offensive line, no fundamentals. These are coaches faults and since the good ship Callahan came we have sucked big time in all these areas. Fire him tonight, I'm sure there are plenty of 80 year old grandmothers in Lincoln who know what Husker football is all about.

Getting rid of Coz isn't going to happen unless you get rid of the guy who brought him along and you can't get rid of him unless you dump the guy who brought Cally along. If you are really going to to do it you have to get rid of the three stooges all at once. There are quite a few of old die hard husker coaches who just might be up to the task of lending their expertise in helping out their beloved Huskers. Husker football is dead and all we have left is one cheap replica. You want names, McBride is enjoying his retirement and giving helpful hints to CU. (you can tell can't you) Tenpior, perhaps to lend his some advice. Some of our old players who have jumped to the coaching ranks would be nice. They at least know what Husker football is all about. Lets call Rathman, a decent call for a running back coach. I bet he would limit his running game to "a hand off to Lucky". Trev is sitting around and very intelligent, Jason Peters getting into the coaching game. There has to be some men out there to save this sinking ship that Pederson has sent down the river. T.O. would be a great intern A.D. Where's Ron Brown, Turner Gill? Where is Tony Samuels? NU isn't going to win anymore games this year, we might as well get it moving in the right direction, but lets first get rid of Pederson and get headed where we need to be, playing Husker football.

The Huskers right now are as good as they will get. Cally is a fraud but Pederson is the real culprit starting the demise of Husker football. What we watched today wasn't Husker football, it was Callahan football and it sucks. How long will we put up with it? I say it's time to clean house from the Athletic Director through our coaches. Keep Cally and mediocrity is what we will have in Lincoln for years to come. The big question is will Tom Osbourne fill the A.D. roll and get us back on track. We are officailly a joke and I ain't laughing.

We played the 79th rated team in the country. Our offense is dreadful, we can't run and if we do guess what it is? A handoff to Lucky. Remeber when we used to run the ball it could any one of a dozen things, now it's a handoff to Lucky. When the weather turns cold and we need to run more we won't be able to do it. These coaches have to go. Pederson as well, unless you like how we compete with the 79th rated team in the country. We should be #78, we barely beat a team that even Solich could have hung a 100 on.

Again this wasn't Cally's fault today!!!!! The offense which he controls did a great job!!!!! The defense which Coz is responsible for did a horrible job??? Coz is the problem right now!!!! Are you kidding me,,,, we played the 79th rated team in the country and you think the offense did a great job? We should have scored 70 points, you just think the offense looks good because of the even poorer job the defense did. It is Cally's fault, Coz is his man and Cally is the general. It all falls on his shoulders. The horrible coaching job of Coz today is just an indication of what is and isn't happeining every day with Cally.

Congratulations to Ball St. You deserved to win that game. You had a great game plan in a very hard place to play. You guys are awesome.

The big question is who should be our new Athletic Director and new Head Coach. We have been sold out by Pederson and Callahan is the same old joke, different location. Cosgrove is just a punchline in the same old joke. Joe Glenn from Wyoming is doing a whole lot more with a lot less talent. He can at least compete with some decent teams while we struggle with Ball St. Guys, we are falling and falling fast. We might win 2 more games with these coaches. We have talent,, we have no generals.

You pose the question "They were the number one team in the nation, what do you expect?" I'm a Husker fan, I expect to beat them. I don't expect to get blown out like what we USED to do to Colorado. The times they are a changin. I've questioned Cosgroves defensive decisions for years now. Somehow I think he ain't the man for Husker nation. We should be competitive with any team in the nation, if we aren't I'd look at the top. Go Big Red

I'm a Husker fan through and through, but got to admit when Callahan was hired I was sad, but when he said we were going to the West coast offense I was devastated. I'm sticking with my Huskers but after 4 disappointing years I'm wondering,,,,, what if we'd hired Joe Glen, Monte Kiffen, you fill in the blank. I miss option football and having the black shirts a feared unit. How long does the BC /SP experiment last before we go back to Husker football. I'm not sure these guys have it , good recruiters but soft in coaching. We can't stop the run, it's gonna be a long season in the big 12. Even a fool can see we have big problems. Move em all up and chance giving up lots of passes or hang em back and everyone runs. How much talent would be enough to run BC's program?

Zach was our man for this year. There were times he needed to get the ball in there quicker. (OU game) There were times when our guys just dropped the ball, I think I counted 6 dropped passes today. It wasn't all Zach, but one thing for sure, If it wasn't for him we would be much worse off. Do you recall the days when Lord couldn't complete a screen pass, now that was painful. Good luck to Zach and I look forward to someone coming in to beat your records but thank you for setting the bar a bit higher.

Man I love them Huskers, and today sucked. I was suprised how much we dominated in the first half, Auburn should have only scored a field goal. I think the coach should stay,, he really is a very good recruiter and I think he will get us the talent we need to win the big games, but while the other teams are making their second half adjustments he has nothing up his sleeve. I agree with those who say we need better playcalling. The coach doesn't have it. He needs to put someone else in that position or he will be losing his job. I personally think that a team that wins by the pass dies by the pass which is certainly what that interception did to us. Did you notice all the dropped balls that we had today, our receivers really struggle catching the ball sometimes. I would be all for scrapping the WCO and getting back to running the football first and foremost. Option football I believe would suit us better at NU. Can't wait for next year, I expected 4 losses this year. I hope for less next year and some great talent coming in the secondary and in the receiving dept. Go big red.
