  1. Not sure proximity to an amusement park is a deciding factor a recruit would consider. Places such as Tuscaloosa, AL and Columbus, OH are not exactly hotbeds of culture and entertainment. A D1 athlete typically has little free time what with workouts, practice ,film study as well as classwork both in season or out.
  2. Great point here. and do we really want an AD that is highly visible ala Pat Haden down on the field barking at refs during a game?
  3. As I read these posts I keep thinking: Adversity does not build character, it reveals it.
  4. Not sure if this post was facetious, but signing classes are ranked by Rivals based not only on the number of 5, 4 and 3 star commits, but also on the number of commits. I don't pretend to understand exactly how Rivals arrives at its rankings. For example: Wisconsin is currently ranked #26 with 1470 points. They have 24 commits and an average Star rating of 2.83 Nebraska is currently ranked #30 with 1420 points. We have 15 commits and an average Star rating of 3.33.
