I hope we take our time while scoring because we can’t afford to give them the ball back. They seem to be able to march done the field with no resistance.

We need to score...the way our defense is playing, we can’t afford to fall behind two scores...

Do they have 100 rush yards already? This is not a good sign...

It is going to take a miracle to stop them from scoring...if they keep running 12 plays every possession, the defense will need oxygen by half time

I said earlier that this is not going to be an easy game and it will take one of our best games to win but some geniuses disagreed. We need to stop their offense and they seem to be march8ng down the field with no problems at all...unless we stop them, this is going to be a shoot out...

I will say this again, other than Illinois, Rutgers and Indiana who we have beaten consistently throughout the past six years, the rest of the BIG are our rivals. We have not beaten Iowa in a few years now and they ripped us a new one last time. So, how can we say they are our rivals. I hope we beat them now in their own turf so they can start seeing us a ligitimate threat. Saying this and doing it is not the same thing. We must have the game of the year if we are to beat IOWA at their own backyard on senior day. They have a good defense and a much better QB than Michigan State. A true rival is one that keeps you from achieveing your season goal. If we had beaten IOWA last year, we would have accomplished that. Until we start doing that to opponents, we might as well approach each game as a rival if that makes us more motivated to win.

Everyone in our division is our rival except maybe Illinois. Until we start beating these teams regularly, they are our rival since we seem to struggle to beat them consistently.

I learned that: (1) our defense can actually win games for us...so happy they did today (2) Pickering might be finally turning a corner... (3) Ozigbo deserves getting to more than 1000 rushing yards this seasons. The guys is a stud. (4) we won in spite of the scumbag zebras trying their best to help MICHIGAN STATE (5) we really really really need spielman. You don’t know how valuable someone is until they don’t play in a game. (6) it looks like the IOWA game is going to be our bowl game. From what they did to Illinois today, we need the entire team to be clicking on all cylinders if we are to win this game. Beating Iowa in their own backyard on senior day is not going to be an easy task. (7) for the first time in a decade I feel really hopeful where this team is heading. Frost will have this team competing for conference championships and greater things very soon. GOOOOOOO BIIIIIIIIIG REEEEEEEEEED! GO BIG RED!

Why is it that the final drive has Nebraska as being eliminated from bowl eligibility?

Seeing this team today and remembering what Riley had done to us, makes me think that Riley was never a nice guy. He was a con artist that stole millions from Nebrasaka and all he did is buy the players ice cream after they laid a goose egg performance.
