  1. I dont want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. I dont want to sell anything bought or processed or buy anything sold or processed or repair anything sold, bought or processed as a career. I dont want to do that. My fathers in the army. He wants me to join, but I cant work for that corporation, so what Ive been doing lately is kick-boxing, which is a new sport, as far as career longevity, I dont really know. I cant figure it all out tonight, so Im just gonna hang with your daughter.
  2. I want to be a forest ranger, Where chipmunks are my only danger...
  3. If you have time on Sunday, I recommend going to BlueBlood Brewing Co. They just reopened Robber's Cave after 20-some years. You can get good food, good beer, and a tour of Robber's cave http://bluebloodbrewing.com
  4. The marching band practice is from 8-10 am. before/during that time you can walk in and sit anywhere you want to watch them. No charge.
  5. If it's not okay to say that, then I guess it's a pretty good thing that I did not say that. You're literally saying nothing but vague things which leads people into trying to figure out what your point is or not replying at all.

  7. I guess I am. Write me out a list of when and where I received all of these privileges. Do you get pulled over a lot less often because you're not Black? Is it easier for you to get a job because your name isn't Dwayne or Tyrone? Both of these things have been studied and the answer is yes for both. I could probably list 50 more things. People who think it doesn't exist are willfully obtuse. White privilege shouldn't be blamed because of their names. They have their parents to blame for that. Should I blame Sears because my mom dressed me funny? I hope to God this is some kind of joke. You're really saying that names typically given to Blacks are "funny"? Why is that? Because they're not normal? They should try to conform and be more like White people, right? Only name their kids Tim and John so they can meet White standards for names and have a better chance at getting a job. This is so backwards. Why on earth would you think it was some kind of joke? Couldn't you recognize the extreme seriousness of the context of that post and the ones preceded/followed it? Ahh...but it was a rhetorical question...because you'd already made your judgement of me and proceeded to chastise me in the rest of your post. I can only speculate why you would make assumptions about me and put words in my mouth. Who would think that names typically given to Blacks are "funny"? That is so backwards.
  8. Jim Hammer, meet bnilhome. This is not new.
  9. Do you have any personal friends who are Black? Ask them. You want him to ask his friends if they are black? OMG. You can't just do that.
  10. Good for you. That crap is nasty anyway.
  11. "We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious people to solve them. And whatever your particular problem is, I promise you [he] is not the least bit interested in solving it. He is interested in two things, and two things only: making you afraid of it, and telling you who's to blame for it. That, ladies and gentlemen is how you win elections." Was he talking about Trump?
  12. LMAO! "Oh say can you see...what's trending on Twitter?"

  14. I agree with their right to express themselves. That doesn't mean it's not classless, tasteless, and overall unbecoming of a representative of the taxpayer-funded University if Nebraska. You are way overreacting, its a simple peaceful protest which has happened multiple times throughout history, so whats the big f'ing deal? UNL should support their right to express their views if anything, if they were an overreaching University they would force them to stop. Simply let the players stand up for what they believe in, any resistance is a totalitarian movement that will reduce productivity and make the players become less loyal to the University they support. UNL should support their right to express their opinion. Like I said, you don't have to agree with it, just understand their right to voice their opinion. Their opinion is just as valid as anyone elses. I'm not "way overreacting". Overreacting would be asking for their expulsion. I'm saying they're classless and tasteless because they're intentionally showing a lack of respect for the symbol of our country and all who've sacrificed for it; which, incidentally, has nothing to do with what they're protesting. Everyone who has ever said they're disrespecting people who have sacrificed for the country is claiming they can read people's minds. Unless these players come out and say they don't give a sh#t about how they were protected during wars, then that's just a big giant guess on your part. If you're specifically talking about the lyrics of the song, why should someone who is fighting against systematic racism care all that much about sacrifices made by our soldiers during a time when slavery was legal? Respect for the flag is something that is ingrained in the minds of all members of the military. It means respect for the people who made the flag possible, so it's easy to infer that disrespect for the flag is disrespect for the people who made the flag possible. As for people fighting against perceived systemic racism, maybe they should care about the sacrifices of those soldiers because many of their progeny paid with their lives to end slavery. Might be something worthy of respect. Did you really just drop a Civil War reference? I reckon so. I guess we all died a little in that damn war.
  15. Not "Take a knee?" There are thousands of brave veterans who have had their legs blown off that would love to take a knee again...
  16. Taking a knee for prayer is a sign of respect for a higher power. Taking a knee for this countrys national anthem and all who have died to make a football game possible shows a total lack of it. The anthem is not about honoring the military. We need to stop with that false argument. It wasn't originally, but it's kind of "become" that at games, hasn't it? It's not uncommon to have military flyovers during the NA.
  17. lolol Yup. It's unbelievable! I've never seen anything like it!! Except during the first time Colin did it there were Muslims watching football in Trump tower and they cheered! Were they also eating taco bowls and fish delights?
  18. Video shows police pepper-spraying teen girl BTW, how did that family get Gilbert Gottfried for their attorney?
  19. You obviously have a strong, passionate opinion about this, and I'm not looking to escalate this into a heated argument, so...Im just asking... Since you seem so certain it should have been handled much better, to the point that the officers should be fired and banned from the profession (that's pretty extreme -- you must be certain of a sure-fire alternative), How do you suggest the officers detain her? It seems the officers were in a lose-lose situation here. It is illegal to leave the scene of an accident, correct? How should they have detained her? And she suffered an injury? A concussion? What do you think would have happened if the officers had not tried to keep her around until they contacted her parents, and she left and succumbed to her injuries? They'd be facing a lawsuit for that. There would probably even be people demanding they be fired and banned from their profession. It seems they gave the girl plenty of opportunities to restrain herself. For her own safety (and their own liability should she get away and succumb to her injuries), she needed to be fully inside the car. How should have they gotten her feet inside? Shackle her some more? Manhandle her some more to force her inside? I'm pretty sure people would be just as upset about that -- a big, burly cop physically restraining this petite, tiny, little innocent girl with excessive force.
