Kawhi wants out of San Antonio. He wants to go to the Lakers, but I don't think there's a lot the Lakers could offer the Spurs, nor do I think it makes much sense for the Spurs to trade him to LA.
Now Boston, on the other hand....
Spurs won't let him go to the Lakers unless they get a package that looks something like Lonzo and Ingram with some picks. Watch the Spurs end up trading him to a place like Orlando or Sacramento to spurn him.

Great, doesn't mean Steph is a better player overall. In fact, i agree, Russ isn't a great teammate, but he still gets 10+ assists a night, involving his teammates.
I will just say this about Westbrook. I love his motor and attitude on the court. I just think that he takes to many ill advised shots and he is not efficient.

That makes him a better teammate, not a better player. And would KD not be an all star without Curry? Would Klay not be a long range assassin without Curry? Would Draymond not be a d^&khead without Curry? Who is Curry making better?
I am simply stating that players that have played with Westbrook have struggled, and then moved on to new teams and found success. A few examples are Oladipo, Harden, Kanter, and Sabonis.

I didn't realize we were arguing over this...haha...
Rebounding: Advantage Westbrook
Post game: Advantage Westbrook
Defense: Advantage Westbrook
Shot: Advantage Curry
Handles: Push
Passing: Advantage Westbrook
Outside of his range, where is Curry better?
Making his teammates better.

Curry from outside, Westbrook inside.
Overall who is the better player

@sho and I are arguing over this. Please help us determine this.

Also Curry is more than a shooter. He runs the offense to perfection and has a lower turnover rate than Westbrook. If Westbrook is so great how come he couldn't get out of the first round with Paul George and Melo on his team.

Robert Horry has won 7. Havlicek won how many? Pippen won 6. Robert Parrish has 4. Would any of them be better than Curry in your opinion? Where are they on your list? Yeah, Curry won 3, he's a great player on a great team, but he's not even the best player on that Warriors team. It's KD. There's a handful of players with zero rings that I would say are better than Curry, one being Westbrook. Winning rings isn't the indicator of greatest all time.
I have KD 12. Curry 15. Westbrook is not even top 25.

I don't like Curry because, for me, he's just a jump shooter, maybe one of the best we've ever seen, but doesn't WOW me with his overall skills like RW does. KD, is right there, sometimes I think he's so good he looks like he goes through the motions and that moves him down my list, not fair to him, but I'd rather have the guy that puts up better overall numbers and looks like he cares every game. Stockton, I was never impressed with, I think he benefited from Malone and wasn't any better than a KJ, Mark Jackson, Danny Ainge type player. Their system was geared to get him assists to Malone, talent wise I don't think he was that great. Malone makes my top 15 and could easily bump Russ. Hate Shaq for his attitude/effort. He quit on too many teams for me to think he's deserving. Hakeem was right there with Malone and the Admiral. Zeke, I never know where to slot him, he and Pippen are ones I can never get a good idea of how great they really were. Indispensable to their teams, but I never thought they were the best player on the court in any game.
If Westbrook is 10 on your list, where do you have Curry? You know someone who has won 3 championships.
-
You already know mine. Tim Duncan "The Big Fundamental" was as smooth as you could get. He is clearly a top 10 player all time, but should be considered a top 5 player all time.

Dude's averaged a triple double 2 years in a row. That's just insane. He's getting overshadowed by bigger hype, better teams, and bigger markets, plust his FO hasn't really helped him. Guy is immensely talented and dominates night after night. If I have a draft for an expansion team in today's NBA, he's #1 on my list and I don't even think about it.
He hasn't won though.

5. Bird
6. Wilt
7. Russell
8. Shaq
9. Kobe
10. Duncan
Solid list. I do believe that Duncan is the most underrated player of all time.

I doubt this is remotely true, but here is what Earl Boykins thinks

Boston makes a lot of sense. A package of Brown, Rosier, their first this year, and the kings pick next year is solid.
