He is out of the hospital now. He has lost 50 pounds, and is now down to roughly 170. Walking with crutches, and having a hard go at that. Some highly regarded persons say that if Kenny ever plays another down for NU, it will be a miracle.

Very strange indeed. The timing that is. Probably will never know why he was fired. It will probably stay mum.

Okay, at least for me, if I had accidentally taken too much Advil, Aspirin, Tylenol, or whatever the heck he supposedly accidentally took, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to keep it "private". In fact, I may want to share what the heck happened to possibly warn others of the risk that comes with mixing said drugs. IMO for him to say thanks for "respecting his privacy" leads me to believe that what issues Marlon may have are of a sensitive nature. I totally agree that he does not have to share it with all of us, I just hope that he gets better in both ways.

There were obviously some mental issues going on for Lucky to say that he wanted to thank everyone for respecting his privacy. And I am okay with that. I just hope he finds himself in a good light, and moves on in a positive way.

I think that was part of the "out" for him. His uncle now needs a whole liver transplant, so my thoughts are with him. Like Jrodan's mommy said, "Jordan needed hope for a brighter future..." (paraphrased). That must be happening at USC.

To bring a guy in this late into the process for a visit leads me to believe that the coaches might have a bad feeling about a player not ending up at NU. Due to the fact that the secondary position was heavily recuited this year.

One is already on campus, one is a Nebraska boy that loves NU, and the other just cancelled his Alabama trip this weekend to stay 100% solid for NU. All three are no worries.

My guess...Eric Roark, or Dave Roberts. I do remember Cally being high on Roark when Blake left, and word is Roark is an amazing recruiter in the Dallas metro area. Ranked in the top 5 non-BCS schools recruiters by rivals. I think Watson goes to OC/QB, Busch get the RC job, and Roark TE/Special Teams. JMO!

Couldn't help but notice that you capitalized "kids" throughout your whole post! 18-22 now being refered to as "kids". Hell, let's just coddle them until they are 30!! All that I would have expected was a little more honesty out of the Congdon camp. Do they owe it to me or anyone else?? No! Just expected it from what I had heard about the family.

I would almost bet that Congdon does start hitting longer FG before his career is done. Not taking a jab at the NU coaches, but I do believe that Jordan will be coached when it comes to kicking, and improve greatly from what we saw this year.

Played many of you like a fiddle!! IMO, Congdon decided early on in the season that he would not be coming back to NU in 2007. Both sides tried to save face as much as possible, and now it comes out that he is trying to get on with USC, only 19 days after leaving NU! HA!
