Ramp that competition up!

That was a change of events I wasn't expecting. I'd love to really lock into Oklahoma and this class could really help give us some pull there. OU leaving a lot of talent untouched.

Sure but when Hodge's film is all at OLB and on the outside that makes comparing these skill sets a bit more attainable.

If he's a similar position and frame as Hodge, I'm not seeing anything better. Usually pretty rosy here but I don't see this as an upgrade from the guy we had on the boat. He's more hand in the dirt where Hodge was running with some guys and covering too. Maybe this is a back-up plan in case we miss on a high end high school kid? Maybe I'm missing something? Bright side is his HUDL says he's a freshman so he's likely at least a 4 for 3 like Hodge was. Something like this puts Alston and Graham on notice I'd imagine.

On Early Break this morning it was stated that they didn't think he'd sign in December. Hopefully just making sure a few t's are crossed and a few i's are dotted.

I mean that makes sense. He's got some options willing to pay his way. He seems like he's a bit more coveted than some of the walk ons we usually get for other schools.

If you scratch out the stadium and the idea that you have to be a Buffalo, that's a pretty spectacular view.

What were his numbers? Looked back at Alston and those were kind of rough.. 6.5 sacks senior year. Jamin Graham had 13.5 which is considerably better but still not amazing. Feel like I saw 18 somewhere but now don't know where that was or if that number belonged to someone else's stat line.

Rivals bump that moves his 247 up to a .8451

Rivals gave him a bump, but not as much as we all hoped for. Up to a 5.7 there and up to .8801 overall.

How does he compare to a Jamin Graham and David Alston? Seems like a similar frame but lower rated?

Does reliable rotational player solidifying our defensive front sound better?
