  1. Based on what you saw during July, which unranked player do you think most deserves to be in the 2020 Rivals150 when we update the rankings in August? What's his recruitment looking like? Bossi: Give me Omaha’s Max Murrell here. I had high hopes for what he could do in front of college coaches and the thin and athletic forward came through. He’s bouncy around the rim, has great instincts as a passer and defender and has the type of shooting stroke that a good coaching staff should be able to fine tune and turn him into a guy who can stretch the floor. He deserves four-star consideration if you are asking me. The high-major offers have flooded in from Creighton, Kansas State, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Stanford, TCU and Virginia Tech. I don’t know enough to have a great feel for his recruitment just yet, but I have a feeling that Creighton, Nebraska and Iowa will be among those that figure prominently. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals-roundtable-2020-team-recruiting-josh-christopher
  2. Hats off to Tim Miles, the commissioner of Houston’s regional camp, who was hopping around from site to site like he had just ingested 10 bottles of Mountain Dew. He and his peers were not put into the best position to make this camp work, with cannons already ablaze because of the criticism geared toward it. Drills and games were nailed down to the minute, with everything beginning and ending on time. That was definitely welcomed with open arms by everyone on hand. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/ncaa-regional-camp-in-houston-the-good-bad-and-ugly
  3. What do you give the chances of Hunter Sallis staying in-State? Creighton or Nebraska more likely? I will round it out to 60-percent. Hunter Sallis, the top 2021 Nebraska prospect, already holds offers from Creighton and Nebraska. He told Rivals.com last week that he speaks often with Fred Hoiberg, but that he is also on Creighton’s campus ever so often for games during the college season or to play pick-up with their team. The comfort factor and relationships that are forged with Sallis seem to be fairly important whenever it comes to selecting a college, which is why each has a good chance with Nebraska the likeliest at the time being. However, Sallis is wide open with his recruitment. Kansas State has recruited him pretty heavily and so has Iowa State, a program that might be my choice for who he would commit to today if he felt the need to end his recruitment. He is intrigued by some of the west coast schools, including Oregon, but a college decision remains some time away. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-kentucky-greg-brown-hunter-sallis
  4. Hunter Sallis is primed for his national emergence One of the more talented guards to come out of Omaha, Neb., Sallis is the type of breakdown artist who can get whatever shot he wants. He has gotten taller, stronger and more skilled and has already seen the in-state powers, Creighton and Nebraska, and Iowa State, Kansas State, Oregon and UCLA have come calling. Sallis is good, and he will quickly become a top target for many top programs. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/adidas-finale-top-10-takeaways
  5. Four-star Hunter Sallis could be one of the best guards that Rivals.com has ever seen coming out of the Omaha area. A smooth scorer who can create off the dribble, knock down jumpers to keep defenders honest and finish in a variety of ways between the rim and 15 feet, Sallis is one of those dudes for who the game comes easy. Next up is for him to start finding teammates more regularly but he's got potential to be a high level college scorer. Creighton would love to keep him home and Nebraska would love to keep him in state. Drake, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State and Ole Miss are also in hot pursuit early. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/adidas-finale-saturday-elite-wing-harrison-ingram-leads-ygc36-to-title
  6. With the transfer portal every single team has at least one player that will transfer. What if Thor graduates after three years like expected and wants to go play professional basketball in Iceland or what if Akol arop realizes he is way behind everybody else. Also hoiberg has offered 8 2020 recruits that have yet to commit to a school(Lane, Dainja, Branson, Thompson, Kasubke, Garcia, Bradford, and Carlson). I am just saying if he is going to recruit players he might as well recruit an instate prospect loaded with potential such as Max Murrell
  7. DICK IS BECOMING A MAJOR TARGET FOR GOOD REASON With a strong showing back in April, a performance at USA Basketball's U16 tryouts in late May that established him as a high major prospect and then a big performance during June, 6-foot-5 shooting guard Gradey Dick of KC Run GMC's 15U team has emerged as one of the top 2022 guards that I've seen. I didn't think anything different when I watched him put on a show during an early afternoon game against a talented Houston Defenders team. Dick has terrific size, can handle the ball with flair and shoot from deep. He also does it all with confidence and has the type of game that could make him a favorite of the mixtape crowd. More importantly, he's a favorite of the college coaching crowd. He had Iowa State's Steve Prohm (Dick's mother played for the Cyclones in college) and an Oklahoma State assistant on hand while I dropped by. Prohm and the Clones have offered and so have Creighton, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Wichita State. He's going to merit serious consideration for our first edition of national rankings for the rising sophomore class. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/uaa-finals-saturday-what-we-learned
  8. Max Murrell was going to be a big summer riser after catching glimpses of him with Factory Hoops back in April. His rapid ascension has exceeded what I expected it to and it's my belief that we need to be discussing him as a legitimate candidate for four-star status when we update our rankings after the summer. After seeing his recruitment heat up during June's evaluation period, Murrell's versatile inside/out game, quick twitch athleticism and above average instincts has turned into a lot of high level scholarship offers. Creighton, Iowa, Kansas State, Minnesota, TCU and Virginia Tech have all come through with scholarships in the last month and could each be found watching on Saturday. I'd not be surprised if he doubled his high end offers in the next week and he definitely had the crowd buzzing. "Max Murrell needs to be right around top 100. He's gonna be a MAJOR problem in two years," an assistant coach whose evaluations I've trusted for years texted and I have to concur. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/uaa-finals-saturday-what-we-learned
  9. Then why are we still recruiting other 2020 players? Because players will transfer so why not recruit an instate prospect full of potential?
  10. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/three-star-max-murrell-aiming-for-a-fall-decision this kid’s recruitment has skyrocketed and it amazes me that hoiberg has yet to even show interest
  11. Recruitment: Nebraska is his newest offer with Kentucky in there along with Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Georgia, LSU, Memphis, TCU and many others with offers. It's definitely notable that his brother recently transferred from UNLV to Texas Tech and the Red Raiders are also deep in the mix.
  12. Commitment day for him, super pumped for the opportunity to sign another great sized local lineman.
  13. What tweet because he has pinned the July 2nd commitment tweet?
  14. Yes that is the definition of a cb but why do they think that, is it because that is his dream school and they have had more success lately, because I believe Scott frost and Barrett Rudd’s persistence and constant visits to Burke will bring in the talented instate wideout
  15. Committed to Nebraska per espn https://www.google.com/amp/www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/26724632/nebraska-adds-french-teen-ouedraogo%3fplatform=amp
  16. You realize that the signing period is April 17th through May 15th but prospects don’t care about the end date
  17. That is when they say it ends but many of high school players still sign with colleges in the summers months
  18. Western Kentucky has been recruiting GREAT the last few years even though they have not had success on the court, including signing 2 five stars and around 2-4 top 100 recruits in 3 years. Also a lot of people have questioned that they probably have payed the five stars.$$$$$$$
  19. Espn has him at 6-8 and so does the western Kentucky basketball roster
  20. He is 6-8 and started at the 4 spot for western kentucky and a top 100 recruit
  21. 1. Nebraska- we should be the best team in this. 2. New Mexico State- 28-6 this past year and was just as good the year before 3. Old Dominion- Probably the best team in the c-USA 4. Loyola Chicago- final 4 two years ago but didn’t go dancing this past year 5. Wash State- Worst team in all the power conferences and going through a coaching change 6. USF- Started off great this past year and then started losing like crazy near the end 7. George Mason- Finished middle of the pack in the A-10 this past year 8. Colorado State- Finished in the lower half of the Mountain West this past year
  22. Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly tells ESPN he’s heard from Arkansas, Alabama, Pittsburgh, SMU, Wake Forest, Colorado, Florida State, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Baylor, Oregon and several others.
  23. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals150-junior-ty-berry-sorting-through-high-major-options has not heard from Hoiberg yet
