Where did you see that warrior? The reason i ask is because i saw this post by someone else "I'm watching Big Red Wrap Up and Bookie was on via phone call. When asked if he was still coming to NU he said he didn't know"

Ill admit I had a day or 2 after that last game I was feeling pretty hopeless about the program. Trying to be positive about this year. Just look at the schedule and where we are now. Take it game by game. Would you agree wisconsin, ohio state and penn state are losses? That leaves 6 more games. We would need to win all remaining 6 games to make it to 7-5. There is only 9 games remaining. Plus bowl game would make 10. But only 9 guaranteed. If we can get him for a visit, play a solid game against say wisconsin and pull off an upset. That atmosphere could win him in my opinion.

Those articles came out after i made my post to be fair guys. You may see me as glass half empty- but I view it as I am not afraid to objectively look at a situation and say man that might hurt recruiting or that guy might second guess coming if what we are selling is not lining up with whats happening. I dont mean to be negative but I dont have my head stuck in the sand either. I just call it how i see it, if there is things to be positive about i am all about that. If there is negative things I am not afraid to acknowledge those things. I want the huskers to win every game and I would love it to keep all the recruits we have committed now and add more guys. I know some of you are very sensitive to what gets said on here because you think Riley and staff read this board. Or recruits. I could maybe see recruits but come on do you really think the staff cares about anything any of us have to say? Or recruits for that matter. I have yet to see a recruit say i am not going to nebraska because the guys on huskerboard.com have been hard on me. There is some good conversation on here at times- but lets be real.

If we could have been respectful on the field this year. Been able to sell that we were a program on this rise as we have been telling kids. I really felt we were going to land this kid. Not feeling good anymore. Actions speak louder than words.The action on the field is opposite of what we have been hearing in the off season.

Prime example of impact on recruiting we had some good talent in town for the game. They saw us lose, fans boo the team and I have not heard any news or buzz from those kids

We lose games and there is question marks about being able to develop guys and see them get better. kids want to win, play and be developed to prep for the league. If all they cared about was playing on day 1 they could do that at any mediocre program

Let's save any recruiting resources and stop trying to flip pledger. OU looks great, what can we sell him on

If the product on the field is this embarrassing most of the year you will be watching bookie somewhere else

I hate to say it but I won't blame any of these kids if they change their minds. This has turned embarrassing and worry of coaching change if season doesn't dramatically improve should be a real concern for them

I think it's easier to take developmental players when your already good and don't need immediate impact players. Also I think the goal is to be level with Ohio state and Michigan not strive to be like Wisconsin and Iowa

I think it is a fair observation, just because they are winning and successful right now doesn't mean they are exempt from criticism. Even if other schools do the same thing it doesn't mean that's not what's going on.

I'm all for under rated guys. I think most people's concern is your margin for error is probably slimmer with higher rated guys. Less chance of a miss

someone asked me this the other day so thought I would throw it out there. May just be a worthless thought but it caused me to pause hindsight and say hmm. Bookie started to distance himself shortly after Friday night lights. Crystals were flooding for tutt and Griffith with a few crystals for pledger to flip leading to FNL. Usually when you see crystals fly that fast someone is bout to commit - word is out. But none of them did or have to date and bookie is getting distant. Did something happen to make guys question coming? Bookie was super vocal leading up to FNL then got pretty quiet

I dont know anything about this kid. All I see is his rating- seems more like the caliber player Pelini would go get. If we really do have a shot at parsons is this kid a waste of a spot on a smaller recruiting class?

I am sure if he was on the team they would play him differently to maximize his skill set and I'm sure they are selling him on that

If the latest CB by wiltfong comes to fruition in regards to parsons and both parson and bookie are on site together for the wisconsin night game and we pull out a win I think both are locked up.

I agree red five. My reaction to reading it was that he does not know where he is going. Not sure what the percentage is for how solid he is to nebraska- but doesnt feel like 100% anymore.

Agree, osu still has good a chance as any. But Oklahoma winning by 2 TDS and parsons making the tweet he did is about as good a situation as possible coming out of OV. Many on here thought he would be committing this weekend
