  1. He won't be drafted, but another year in college hoops won't change that. The NBA has very little use for players who can't shoot from outside 5 feet.
  2. Top 100 transfers according to ESPN. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/32884345/college-basketball-transfer-rankings-2022-23-season
  3. Opening season with Maine & UNO https://omaha.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/nebraska-mens-basketball-will-open-with-uno-maine-next-season/article_8f4f9274-b5d0-11ec-bded-4bfe82a4d589.html
  4. St peters, Georgetown, ????, Hampton & Nebraska. What team is that in the middle? Looks like an evil version of the Monopoly guy.
  5. Only thing I can think of is that Fred is looking at someone who is a lower level assistant for one of the teams still playing or was just eliminated.
  6. He'll have to sit for a year because he's already transferred once. Next year will be his third school in three years.
  7. We could definitely use his defense & leadership. Plus one more year of college will give him more opportunity to play as a point/lead guard since that is his most likely position at the next level.
  8. Ron Harper Jr from Rutgers forgoing his extra covid year. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33578597/rutgers-ron-harper-jr-projected-second-round-pick-declare-nba-draft
  9. That socks! He has a ton of potential & would have loved to see him realize it for the Huskers.
  10. I've got a math minor and it was going over my head. I am fighting a cold today so I'm not operating at 100%, but still...
  11. According to my google search it is Regularized Adjusted Plus/Minus. https://basketballstat.home.blog/2019/08/14/regularized-adjusted-plus-minus-rapm/
  12. That shouldn't be a problem. I think conferences technically give the medical redshirts & NU will do everything it can to help.
  13. Game is at 2:30 on ESPN News.
  14. If he leaves, he'll have to sit for a year or apply to the NCAA for a waiver since he's already transferred once.
  15. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing? Or maybe they don't follow the same "rules" for the women's tournament. I honestly don't know since I don't follow women's hoops other than the Huskers.
  16. They wouldn't play in Ann Arbor. The NCAA tries to avoid conference match ups in the first two rounds.
  17. I haven't seen anything saying that is the case next year like it is this year.
  18. Larry Cox was a little before my time. My dad & I didn't have season tickets until the 79/80 season. We went to most of the games in 78/79 but walked up and got them at game time.
  19. Eligibility Remaining (13): Derrick Walker - Would like to see him come back. I think he's been a leader on the floor and provides strength (if not height) in the post. Bryce McGowens - Would love to see him enter the draft w/o signing with an agent, get feedback & come back. Doubt it happens. Trey McGowens - Would like to see him come back. We need his perimeter defense. I don't see anyone else on the team providing that unless one of the newcomers or guys who didn't play much can provide it. Trevor Lakes - Only way he has eligibility is if he applies for a medical redshirt to play a sixth year of college ball & I doubt it would be at Nebraska CJ Wilcher - Not a lot of options since he's already used his one "free" transfer. Like his shooting ability, needs to get a little quicker on defense. Eduardo Andre - Would like to see him come back. Clearly improved over last year, needs to get stronger. Denim Dawson - You'd think he would come back since he joined the team mid season when they already looked like the season was in trouble. Quaran McPherson - Not sure what to expect. Oleg Kojenets - Was recruited as a project and still looks like he needs to get stronger (based on what I've seen in warmups). Keon Edwards - Not a lot of options for him either since he's used his one time "free" transfer. Initially started when Trey was injured, so the coaches see something from him on the defensive end. It just seems like Lat Mayen - Needs to move on (good for both sides). Has looked better the last couple of weeks. Would like to see him succeed at a lower D1 school. Seems like a good guy. Keisei Tominaga - Would like to see him come back and find his shooting stroke. Probably needs to work toward being a point guard based on his build. Wilhelm Breidenbach - Would like to see him come back. I think he would have improved a lot over the last 3 months if he hadn't gotten injured. Definitely an interesting prospect. Ideally the rotation for next year is: Starters - Trey, Wilcher, Bryce, Breidenbach, Walker Rotation - Tominaga, Edwards, Andre, Keita, McPherson, Dawson Depth - Lawrence, Lloyd, Kojenets That would be 14 scholarship players, so at least one would have to go.
  20. Only thing I can think of is coaches vs media using different terminology.
  21. Huskers get ESPN's wins of the week for last week's wins at OSU & WI. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/33438754/gonzaga-finishes-regular-season-no-1
  22. Was posting from my phone. Sometimes it does stupid stuff like quote the last message even when i don't click on the quote link.
  23. Early on the game the announcers said he could have played today, but they wanted to give him a couple more days for it to heal.
  24. Missed the second half. Had to help my step daughter do her taxes. Will have to catch the replay.
