  1. Part of it comes down to patience. He would probably be getting at least 15 min/game at SDSU if he'd have stayed around. Every time he changes schools he has to learn a new system and new teammates. If you change every year, it never happens and you don't reach your potential.
  2. I get the one time transfer, but the players who transfer over & over seeking playing time, more exposure, etc are the kinds of players I wouldn't want on my team if I were a coach. One transfer indicates you made a mistake when you were 17 or 18 and picked a school, but transferring over and over says "It's all about me".
  3. School number 4 for next year to use 5 years of eligibility. NU, Tulsa, CU & ???.
  4. If he's going to talk to Sean Miller & Will Wade he'll be offered more than a scholarship.
  5. Can't believe Mount St Mary's gave that game away.
  6. This one kind of surprises me. I thought he'd stick around for his sophomore year and see if he gets playing time before making a decision. Especially since he's tight with the McGowens'.
  7. Just saw that on ESPN's website. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/31070313/indiana-hoosiers-fire-coach-archie-miller-12-15-season-sources-say Wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota makes a move in the next couple of days.
  8. I'm sure the Doane game hurt our SOS in the NET. It is fourth at Ken Pom because it excludes Non-D1 games.
  9. Only down 3 with 4:24 to go. Fingers crossed...
  10. Basketball is the only part of the board I really pay attention to. I'm not sure what I'd change, but like Desertshox said - a winning team would lead to more participation by others.
  11. Then McGowens gets called for a foul on the floor reacting to his arm being jumped on and injured.
  12. He was committed somewhere else before he signed with Cincinnati if I remember correctly. I'm guessing he wants to be "the man" and be allowed to take 20 shots per game.
  13. I think Wood knew he wouldn't get much time this year - kind of like Arop last year. If he doesn't get playing time next year, I wouldn't be shocked to see him transfer.
  14. I think it will help next year if the team can get together in the summer an play pick up games so they learn more about each other on the court. The biggest issue this year has been turnovers and lack of practice time which are related. I think they should make a much bigger leap than some of the other teams at the bottom of the conference and some of the teams near the top should take a step back. I think with the players coming in and the ones that could/should come back there is reason for optimism.
  15. Webster & Thor could both come back since the NCAA has decided that this is a "free" year. I would be shocked in Yvan stays. I agree that Andre & Wood will stay. Arop & Stevenson are toss ups. I think both could be helpful next year, but probably in limited minutes so they may look for a place where they can find a starting role.
  16. Wait, you have to go to class? When did that start?
  17. Maybe, but you'd have thought he'd play when the scout team came in.
  18. Yvan didn't play tonight - even in junk time. Anyone know if he's injured or just in the dog house?
