  1. BT Powerhouse has them 14 too. https://www.btpowerhouse.com/2019/4/11/18292605/way-too-early-2019-20-big-ten-basketball-power-rankings-predictions-standings-michigan-state-purdue
  2. Nebraska still appears to be his best offer. Not sure about what he thinks about the "fit" with the new coach, but Huskers are better than UMass & St Joe's.
  3. And had they kept Miles, but Roby left it might have been Allen at 8.7. From what I've heard, Allen probably was gone either way so it would have been Nana at 4.3 because that's so much better than Harris at 2.2.
  4. Not sure about going from walk on to scholarship. Did Sam Bradford Baker Mayfield sit when he went from Texas Tech to Oklahoma?
  5. Here's ESPN's take on transfers. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/26530279/college-basketball-transfer-rankings-2019-20-2020-21
  6. At least in warm ups his shot looked better at the end of the season. The results seemed about the same (not good), but it actually looked like a jump shot. It was more of a set shot really, but at least it didn't look like an Albatross landing.
  7. Hopefully Burke has been working for the last year and can be in that 40% range. Green might get there just by having a lower usage rate. I'm sure he took virtually every late in the shot clock shot for the team this year.
  8. I know what Hoiberg wants, but being a drive only point guard won't work in the B1G. Every team will lay off him and cut off driving lanes if they don't respect his ability to shoot. If you look at Green's highlights there are several jump shots. Obviously I've never seen a full game with either guy, but I think Green is a better fit based on under five minutes of highlights. Of course it could be how the highlights are edited.
  9. Nearly 4 1/2 minutes of highlights & only two jump shots. If he's going to play in the B1G he's going to have to shoot from the outside. He won't be able to drive to the basket at will like he apparently can at the juco level.
  10. I was at the game. NU didn't win, but it was much closer than it should have been based on talent. Final was 62-61 Texas.
  11. Would doubt if he gets a raise. There is 1M for the assistant pool & Abdelmassih is getting 380k. That leaves 620k for the other two positions. If Doc gets a raise from 350k that would leave less than 270k for the third (assumed to be Gates). Gates made 256k last year with a two year contract, so I guess he could stay at 256k, but that seems like a pretty wide pay difference between assistants (380k to 256k).
  12. OWH free article about Doc https://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/doc-sadler-resigns-at-southern-miss-is-nebraska-his-next/article_55f3c6e6-f366-5f33-b1b8-df4e112d4707.html
  13. Scored a game high 21 points.
  14. I would think that every junior in a power conference would do the same thing.
  15. Then he went to prep school for a year anyway because he didn't like the smaller schools that were willing to take him. He probably wouldn't have needed prep school if he hadn't missed an entire year (junior year?) with an injury.
  16. Maybe Hoiberg wants to announce assistants at the same time & they have to be vetted or are coaching on teams still playing.
  17. Not only did he run him over going for the lose ball & tackle him, but after Roby paased the ball he moved from his lages to damn near his head.
  18. I doubt I'll make $9 million in my entire career.
  19. He will be paid $5 million no matter what. His Bulls contract was 100% guaranteed. They are paying him for the $5 million owed for this season, and $5 million for each of the next two seasons. If he gets the rumored $4 million from Nebraska, he will make $9 million each of the first two years.
  20. I'd say Nana, Burke & Thor can go. I think Thor could be helpful off the bench his senior year, Nana seems to have issues if he's not playing as much as he thinks he should. No real clue what Burke can to at this level. The rest I'd like to see what a new coach can do with them (Roby included). I think Roby & Allen can be leaders if they stick around & I'm curious about Harris & Heiman. Not sure about Davis since he sat out injured all year.
