I think that Logan transfers out.  Bc Purdy has more potential then him.  Logan would have to show significant improvement on his throwing motion and or feet placement in order to be in the conversation.  Love his running ability but his throwing is something left to be desired for still.  The problem with Purdy was the former staff was horrible at developing and he was thrown into the lion's den.  He clearly wasn't ready last season but he tried to make the best of it.

Logan is N for life...  He seems content in his roll on the team and will bleed red to the end...  JMHO..

But, you're trying to argue that there isn't going to be any improvement on the O line....while ignoring all the changes around the program that could help make the O line better.

@Huskerfollower4life Most of us know and understand what you are asking and saying...  a few on this board will complain if there are too many sprinkles on thier sundae or argue about the proper amount of said sprinkles...  JMHO

If I think academics is important.

if he doesn’t qualify, he doesn’t play.  So, it doesn’t matter if I care about academics.

i didnt ask that question... i was responding to your post on my statement...  its what YOU said..

No, I don’t care about weed. If he has his academics straightened out so he can play, great. If he doesn’t have his grades worked out, your question is kind of ridiculous.

We need players that are bought in and want to be here.  He was here once and quit. Now, he’s questioning if he wants to come back.  Naaaa….try somewhere else if you’re asking for a scholarship. If he is willing to walk-on and prove himself….great.

    What question exactly is "ridiculous"..??

    That’s not the point.

As a human, I hope he gets it figured out and is successful.

But, as a program, we need those 19 year olds that DO have it figured out and come here ready to work.

So you would pass up good talent for a 19 yr olds minor mistakes..??  got it...  I could see your point if we were taking armed robbery or murder.... but some academics and some weed..??    please...

If he doesn’t know by now, let it be.  Move on. His heart and mind are not in it obviously. His scholarship is better given to somebody who truly cares. Imo.

yes,  because we all had it figured out by the time we were 19..??  right..??

If you don’t understand that they play a different position I don’t know what to tell you.

No worries @Farms...  Im guessing most of us understand what you are saying and agree...  there are some on here that will just be argumentative "literally" and others that are so lip locked to them that will comment even though its clear they have no clue...  enjoy your day...

I wouldn’t underestimate what coach Rhule mentioned about the role of football camps.  Lincoln is the target area and they’ll work out from there making the 500 radius better through investing in athletes. It introduces recruits to the organization earlier and begins the development process where we are the beneficiary.

agreed... I think this hire would be more for the progress of local HS coaches

My uncle is fairly well connected and owns corporate/club seats underneath South Stadium. He said he hasn't seen any plans or know exactly what it will physically look like but there's a plan in place for South stadium to get a concourse and more box/suite tickets. Not sure if that's just chopping off the top, adding a second deck or what.

My understanding is that was the initial plan but the existing structure will not support it so it will be a full phased rebuild

That's a long way of saying you were wrong and it wasn't official. It's okay... someone else linked the announcement when it was official.

No, its a short nice way of saying I told you so...  #commonsense

    Then link the official announcement.

Most people can tell the difference between a random twitter account saying "sources" and websites like SI, OWH and SBnation's "sources"...  its okay..  you just had to wait 2 more days to see it was "offical"

We got better under MJ, not enough better to garner the HC job but better. O-line didn't get better under Raiola, thus he has less of a case than MJ.

Is Raiola as bad as he seemed this season? Could he be good down the road? I can see that. But why not hire an O-line coach that is actually proven to be good?

How exactly do you feel we "got better" under MJ..??  and how exactly do you rate Raiola "as bad as he seemed" under the circumstances and limited metrics that he had..??
