  1. Two things, I can't get any Larry King video to play on google play - everyone of them says program unavailable. Two, I'm not a huge fan of CNN, but they literally had this particular interview on their front page days ago. Not the best coverup if that's what they're attempting. https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/25/politics/tara-reade-mom-larry-king/index.html
  2. I'll be honest, I really didn't look at that portion of the tweet. I was shocked that Biden is polling better in Ohio, Trump won Ohio pretty easily in 2016. The same pollster had Trump +4 end of March.
  3. Man, do you libtards need everything explained to you!
  4. I’ll give my stimulus check to the first reporter who yells “what in the ever loving f#&% are you talking about.” Seriously this guy is a moron.
  5. Don't mind the smell boys, thats just desperation. Let's all look to the opinion of America's favorite terrorist!
  6. There are many floating around that are not FDA approved tests, there are only 4 FDA approved and the New York Study was using one of those.
  7. Oh for sure, it’s more deadly. Depending on where you’re at, it seems like Covid will fall somewhere between 0.5% and 1%. Like you said flu is about 0.1%. So 5-10x more deadly and it seems as though it spreads much easier.
  8. First batch of antibody tests are in for NY State. Estimated 14% of the state has been infected with the virus. Infected Fatality Rate would 0.6%ish depending on what numbers you use. Also over 1/5 of NYC estimated to have had the virus.
  9. I'd say there is no way they are over counting - I think NYC is doing a decent job on trying to get the number right - which is very hard. Covid is able to kill in a couple different ways - so it's very hard to calculate. Did the person die of cardiac arrest due to Covid, or would have that happened anyways? Also very tough to look at someone without a positive test and determine if it was or wasn't Covid - especially with deaths most often occurring in older populations with preexisting conditions.
  10. Another interesting study from Italy. Case Fatality Rate for Healthcare workers. 0% for those 18-29, 0.07% for those 30-39, 0.08% for those 40-49, 0.28% for those 50-59, 1.41% for those 60-69, 12.63% for those 70-79. 0.35% total Case Fatality Rate for Healthcare Workers in Italy. Total of 15,018 cases for Healthcare workers in Italy age 18-59 - 0.15% Case Fatality Rate. https://www.epicentro.iss.it/coronavirus/bollettino/Bollettino-sorveglianza-integrata-COVID-19_16-aprile-2020.pdf (It's in Italian)
  11. They're different studies, but I'm sure its not perfect.
  12. As of 4/21 NYC had 5,115 hospitalizations for my age group (18-44), and 51,217 positives for my age group. The USC/LA Health Department antibody study estimated the amount of people with Covid was (on the low end) 28x higher than the amount of positives they had at the time. So lets say that NYC is only catching 1/10 (I know they are different cities, but NYC antibody data is not available yet), that's 5,115 hospitalization for 512,170 cases. That's a less than 1% hospitalization rate for the 18-44 age group, including the high risk folks (obesity, heart disease, diabetes). *Disclaimer - I don't think I fudged up the numbers, but I may have, also I'm not a expert - just a dude that works in healthcare that is fascinated with this. I say this to make two points. First, my biggest fear is not me or my household - its passing this off to a high risk group, I would not fear for my personal safety leaving the house. Second, if we could develop a strategy to open up the country to low risk groups, develop immunity amongst them, and protect the high risk groups - I think that could be a feasible plan.
  13. How about the Working Families Party? Who endorsed Bernie in '16. You can not like her, or disagree with her, but that doesn't make her not progressive. Alright I've said my piece. I'll let this go, since we will never agree.
  14. Cool, but she is progressive. She’s ran a campaign centered around free college, Medicare for all, legalize marijuana, green new deal, elimination of student debt, comprehensive wealth tax, assault on wall st. She was splitting endorsements from progressive groups with Bernie up until she dropped out. She and Bernie went back and forth trying to out progressive each other the entire campaign. She is progressive. Does the Progressive Change Campaign not know what progressive is when they endorsed her?
  15. Yeah this does nothing to disprove her history in govt as a progressive lawmaker. Her medicare for all plan isn't Bernies, therefore it's not progressive? She is running on a medicare for all platform, legalize marijuana, she was being endorsed by progressive groups, she attacks wall st as much as anyone. I can find multiple intercept articles calling her a progressive. She IS progressive.
  16. How? She's probably as far left as any candidate not named Bernie Sanders, and even then the platform she ran on is pretty comparable?
  17. Agree on Warren. If progressives think Warren is too right for their taste, then those people won't accept anything other than a Bernie nom. A Warren VP offer would be about as far as I see Biden willing to stick his hand out to the far left of the party.
  18. Sounds like DC police is investigating, I would think they would have access to those records. Like I've said this entire time I just want the facts.
  19. Just FYI New York doing a mass antibody test starting this week, largest of its kind (I believe) in the world. FDA approved the test. Hell this thing could have rolled through half of NYC so far, for all we know - gonna be very interesting to see these results.
  20. It's a risk - seems like more time is the safe route, that being said, all the serological data is stacking up, and it's all saying the virus is far more widespread and less deadly than anticipated. I think as we open back up, we still need to emphasize social distancing and mask wearing. The goal was to flatten the curve, we were never going to eradicate the curve. Many hospitals are far under capacity and able to take on patients as it stands now.
  21. This is what it comes down to, and I agree with you here. If you think a Biden Presidency would be as bad or worse than a Trump Presidency then you’re argument for not voting Biden would make complete sense. I happen to value things like $15 minimum wage, increases options for healthcare, citizenship for dreamers, decriminalize marijuana, a plan for climate change, more progressive judges in the Supreme Court, an actual pandemic response team, elimination of private prisons, affordable college...
  22. ^ This. There are only 2 viable choices. Choices are A or B, if you had to choose you would choose A 99% of the time, but instead of making that choice, you abstain from choosing, well that inadvertently helps B. B no longer has to make up a vote that is undoubtedly would have gone to A (had a choice been made).
