  1. It is embarrasing to have freshmen lineman come in and performer upper classmen. exp. Jaimes and Decker. This tells me two things 1. the coaches are not putting the best players on the field, or 2, the more time Cavanaugh gets with his players the worse they get. idk I just don't understand how our o-line is such a weak link. out perform*
  2. mike went 5-7 in year one, year two his team got hammered by pretty much every decent team we played. I just don't understand where the Wins were that you are talking about. I mean no offense, I just don't see how any coach can afford to wait till year three to get his philosophy going.
  3. and you are still impressed? Wisconsin hasn't played anybody good this year, they tee'd off on a very very weak NW team. If DL calls a good game for T. Lee we have a chance.
  4. Go watch NW and Penn State right now, NW's offense is absolutely dreadful. I am not impressed.
  5. you certainly don't have a past to hang on. so keep cherishing those moments you get to play in the capital one bowl, lose to a crappy SEC team. and lose to Ohio State, Penn State, etc...
  6. Dog we have an incompetent coaching staff, what don't you get? You think once we hire a competent coach and we continue to have good recruiting classes that this crap is going to keep going on? like get real bro,.
  7. Typical Wisconsin fan, pompous and arrogant with absolutely no leg to stand on but that you guys have faced Nebraska at a time when we were down. Funny thing is Nebraska's down years are probably an average to good year in Wisconsin.
  8. Ok im sorry BYU FAU and NW real power houses, lol oh I forgot Utah State...
  9. LOL Hornibrook couldn't pass a background check on Brazzers. You guys have not played any decent team this year.
  10. I am telling you Ven, Wisconsin loses tonight.
  11. LOL Minni huh, ok so was Minni winning nine plus games a year on a consistent basis and pulling in top 25 classes every year?
  12. You don't get bro, its not about the moment, its about the future for Nebraska. Nebraska is a sleeping giant. Wisconsin is a school yard bully that picks on kids just because he is insecure that he comes from a Trailor park and is jealous that the rich kids have better toys than he does...
  13. ok buddy, we might fire coaches but Wisconsin cannot keep a coach around longer than Trump can stay off twitter. And yea bud we have won 5 national titles in the last forty years. what has Wisconsin won of merit?
  14. Honestly I don;t know what the hell to call Riley and Langs offense besides a calamity on the gridiron. we haven't had a 1,000 yard rusher since Riley has been here. Not only that but go look at the Ohio State game when every call was a pass from ryker fife on a 20 yard go route. riley and Lans do not look like they have any idea what the want. I hear them say run, but everytime the run looks like it might get shut down on a series they completly abandon it and resort to passing.
  15. pretty bold statement, lol. Sorry unlike Wisconsin Nebraska is a true blue blood program and won't settle for a coach who does not win championships. Pelini had seven years, his behavior was atrocious, and his performances against the like of lil red were egregious. Wisconsin you should be afraid, honestly Nebraska might win tomorrow, but it is the future that I am most looking forward to. Once Nebraska gets this thing rolling, Wisconsin has no chance. Wisconsin is always out recruited by Nebraska, and Wisconsin has no real championship tradition to sell. Honestly I don't understand why anybody gives you guys any respect, you stole an identity from Nebraska, and Brett Bielima is everything that is wrong with college athletics. Remember when he kept going for two when you guys were stomping on the lil sisters of the poor in Minnesota? Wisconsin pales to Nebraska.
  16. lol this should not be happening in year three... Baker should have never came here, nor should have Bruce reed, or Cavanaugh... Mike gets a pass because he unwisely hired his pals and in year three he is making coaching changes? transition year should have been year 1 maybe 2. Here is what ideally riley should have done in year one 1. hire competent oc and dc 2. find a transfer qb or let POB get reps last season develop. 3. honestly points 1 and 2 could have probably done it. lol
  17. worst part about all of this was that I was in sixth grade, my full woody for Nebraska had just come to fruition. I grew up in Colorado and my sixth grade teacher grabbed my husker beanie off my head and said "you are a doing pretty good, but this beanie is the only problem you are having ." I was watching Eric Crouch run his way to a Heisman. My mom went to Peru State so every thanksgiving we would go to Omaha to see family. My Mom gets me up on Friday and drags me down to Peru State to see her old campus, I am so pissed off because I can't watch Nebraska beat the hell out of sCUm, and on my way back to Omaha, I am listening to this dude Chris Brown running wild... This thing has not been right since. The day we hired Bill Callahan my uncle a die hard Bronco fan said "this guy will ruin that program for ten plus years." no joke lol I think we all knew Callahan was not going to last from the get go. Pelini comes in in 2008, I felt pretty good, at least as good as I have felt about Nebraska since 2001. The pelini thing took a turn in probably 2010, Texas A&M. However, it was the Wisconsin debacles every year that deflated the Pelini balloon. I was glad to see Nebraska cut ties with him. It was like being in a toxic relationship with a girl who you just cannot seem to cut loose. You stay together, but it just is not right. Hiring of Riley, wow, what a day that was. Googling his name I swear the English version of Peter North popped up on the search before coach Riley did. lol. Anyways fifteen years later, I never would have imagined this. How I miss those fall Saturdays smelling the crisp autumn air, watching Nebraska pound the rock and the other team being able to nothing about it. I really hope that this thing turns around. I feel like all it will take is the right coach who understands Nebraska. I just have a feeling that Scott Frost is the guy. The same way I felt that Callahan wasn't right, and that Riley is not right. call it human intuition.
  18. This attitude stop existing on a horrible day, in that horrible town Boulder, Colorado, in 2001.
  19. LOL how many turning points is this team going to have under Dirty Mike and the Boys? Tennessee was the turning point in 16', Purdue in 15' in 17' the turning point is NIU. I am so tired of hearing these excuses... just take care of business. The thread put up and shut up is so spot on. When will Nebraska start putting up and shut up and just win baby. I remember a few years back the Oline "re-established the pipeline" nlast year it was "lockdown U" these coaches sure like to talk. How about talk by smashing the team across the field from you.
  20. very myopic, there are more choices than these two...
  21. I fully expect a lot of peoples thoughts on giving Riley more time to change dramatically either tomorrow night or in two weeks.
  22. lack of any signs of him turning this thing around?
  23. I am just a die hard Nebraska fan and I know that this school and team can do much better. There are a lot of red flags that Riley Raises. and it stems from a lack of accountability. Nate Gerry not going to class- still plays Stanley Morgan getting busted for weed- not suspended. Alex Lewis talking crap to the fans- no repercussion. Tanner Lee 2 pick sixes- stays in the game.
  24. Mike Riley has had three years to build this program. In year three Nebraska has lost to NIU, got 600 yards put on them by Oregon in the first half, nearly lost to Ark State. Trolling because I refuse to buy into the narrative that he needs more time? Bo Pelini took Nebraska to a championship in year 2, what am I missing here?
  25. Trolling? you serious... I was making a joke, but in all reality it is a sad state of affairs in Husker land if we are basing optimism on beating the two worst teams in the BIG.
