    Strangely, I've heard the exact opposite. Helfrich is the rumored favorite... a guy he's worked with previously, that he's comfortable with.

    Many current LSU coaches have Nebraska ties: Jake Peetz, Corey Raymond, Mickey Joseph. Bring them on staff and bring some of the portal players along. There are already two top LSU guys in the portal with more to follow.
