  1. Sweet! Glad to see you toss that racism implication out right away! Now point out which one was the contractor he stiffed. You made the claim, why would I research it?
  2. Now its not an attack on the "FBI" its just demonstrating how corrupt the 7th floor is. The rank and file are great, honorable people and will be much happier when they are no longer associated with the political hacks at the top! Its hilarious that the FBI wants to critique a memo that likely shows members of the FBI to be lawless pawns of the obama admin and working to undermine a political campaign first, then a duly elected President second.
  3. President Donald Trump has an exceptional success record. It is absolutely laughable to cite the 4-6 bankruptcies as "proof". I believe his businesses have a 98 or 99% success rate! Awesome isn't it! Now if you would like to link the court proceedings regarding his failure to pay a contractor we could discuss that. I am sure you know that sometimes a contractor does not meet their contractual obligations, and either don't earn the full price, or any. Its impossible to discuss without being specific and providing the link. Otherwise it just sounds like a petty attack!
  4. you should be specific and cite a singular court case if you wish to make a point. President Trump has an extensive history of paying a lot of people. Heck he pays 22,000 every year in payroll!
  5. Oh, you obviously misread the post I quoted! Thats OK! You should look at it! You can leaver your nifty picture up even though you didn't use it properly! Nobody here would care if I did.
  6. Well your example is a factually accurate article that describes exactly what they were doing. There is no attempt at conveying anything other than the truth. Honestly I am sure the D's had every intention of conveying that they are glum, and don't want to be seen applauding. I wouldn't blush if I were you. Your example is not good. I noticed you claim that Fox does this all the time, yet you post a poor example. Perhaps you can re-read the definition of yellow journalism that you posted and try again! The CNN article I posted is attempting to give the impression that our President Donald Trumps speech was not popular. It is really quite clear, perhaps you should re-read my OP and try again! It could be fun!
  7. Right, let me know when this administration lies about an operation to inflate gun crime numbers, forces civilians to break the law. Lie to reporters and the country about numbers and only drop the op when it gets a law enforcement officer killed.
  8. Trump said it in a close door meeting. Durbin is a coward. That bill had no chance of passing. Fortunately President Trump has offered a great compromise, actually more than the Democrats claim they wanted! Lets see if they care about immigrants. My bet is no. Elected democrats are heartless thugs that thrive on using people and groups as pawns.
  9. If they don’t, they will! And FWIW Americans stand out like a sore thumb in most places. I’ve been told it’s our demeanor, posture and other subtle cues. Personally, aside from dress and grooming I can’t tell till I talk to people. My wife might suggest I am not always the most perceptive!
  10. More good news from the tax plan! Hopefully this will lead to real development and not gentrification and the ultimate displacement of the very people its meant to benefit.
  11. Dick Durbin? He didn't get a lot of support. And a lot of places are s#!tholes. If you don't think so, you should travel more. Besides, Durbin proved himself to be a grandstanding coward who's only intent was to undermine the Executive Branch, and any progress made towards immigration. Should that ignorant simp have been so "offended", why not express your poutrage at the time, and try to correct the behavior? Personally, I would be shocked if most people haven't used the term. I have, and many of my friends have. I have eaten in s#!tholes, I have slept in s#!tholes, I have lived in s#!tholes etc. Besides, the obvious question is, if these places are so great, why are people trying so hard to flee?
  12. 1st Preference: Unmarried sons/daughters of U.S. citizens and their children (capped at 23,400/year) 2nd Preference: Spouses, children, and unmarried sons/daughters of green card holders (capped at 114,000/year) 3rd Preference: Married sons/daughters of U.S. citizens and their spouses and children (capped at 23,400/year) 4th Preference: Brothers/sisters of U.S. citizens (at least 21 years of age) and their spouses and children (capped at (65,000/year) That may not be "unlimited", but it is potentially a pretty big chunk. I say eliminate it anyway. Regarding Yates, she was wrong. It is clearly within the Presidents rights to do exactly what she did. She was grandstanding, and illustrating just how corrupt the government under Obama had become.
  13. What branch of government is the AG in? After the Sally Yates garbage thats completely appropriate. Ahh, more CNN garbage. I will have to look at the link. Its probably info from the infamous "anonymous source", that was somehow privy to a private meeting!!
  14. I personally cant call that yellow journalism. I'm not sure that is quality tabloid journalism. I suppose it is tabloid level. The event actually happened. I know there are people that put a lot of weight into the Qanon, I'm not one of them. I guess my idea of yellow journalism is a factually correct story presented in a way to support the writers idea moreso than the event.
  15. Yeah, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the "vindicated" headline. We cant know if Obama believed what he was saying or not, and it still doesnt justify the lack of decorum.
  16. I heard the train contained Hillarys server, the Trump tower computer that talks to the Russians, the FBI text messages, Trumps transition team emails and Lois Lerner's emails!
  17. That was a joint session, not the SOTU. (that doesnt excuse it) Rahm demanded his ID, and an apology. Wilsons actions were renounced by at least a few republicans, and I believe he apologized. Should we expect the same regarding the Boo-birds" last night? Can you imagine the CNN article should Kelly demand their ID's and an apology! The outrage on CNN would be worth it! As is, I really don't care! Its all political theater . FWIW Wilson was essentially right! (That doesnt make it OK either!)
  18. Did someone yell "You Lie" during a SOTU speech? That is rather uncouth.
  19. The only thing stupider than a televised SOTU (I admit I watched it!), is a televised "rebuttal". (I didn't watch it, but was a bit surprised on the selection. I suppose the Dems will use their pick for 2020 next year)
  20. Here is a definition of "sit on your hands", it apparently comes from theatre, and essentially bemoans a lack of applause! That seems to be exactly what the Democrats were doing. So your link and example isn't really very good. It doesnt seem like Fox news was being misleading in this case! My example is very good though, wouldn't you agree?
  21. Thats your assertion, you have yet to provide a compelling link! I provided a great link, actually 2!, and explained precisely what is misleading, and what, and why I felt they were conveying it that way. I am sure this is not the case, but it is almost like you are doing the good-ole "what-about" thing! I'm sure your not though. You just haven't really discussed my link nor provided a good example of yellow journalism. (aside from the definition! That was definitely Top-Notch!)
  22. Further, I believe "sat on their hands" is a common term that fairly accurately defines what the democrats were doing. I think my example is much better presented, and backed up.
  23. Not sure how to link to a tweet, This is a great example of "Glum", as demonstrated by the CBC as President Donald Trump stated the Black unemployment rate is at an historic low. And I obviously know what Yellow Journalism is, I posted a great example of it per the definition you just linked!
