  1. I could possibly see Washington, Mills, Johnson, and some with Robinson and Jones if he is healthy. MJ looks real good in his HC highlight videos and showed his speed in his one catch in space.
  2. Mark Magino (sp?) put together a really good team in 2007. The point is Miles could do good for Kansas. FYI: Anyone saw the OWH article that the Corn may get a graduate transfer, big-bodied WR — Lawrence Cager — from Miami? Cager said Husker fans stand out from other schools.
  3. I said “especially” 1995. Yes I know 1968 was a totally different era, but I was mainly pointing to 1995. Again, it’s possible a very good coach can win at an otherwise bad program. It won’t be easy, but Miles possibly could produce winning records there.
  4. My point is it’s possible Miles could put together a good team or two at Kansas. True, they almost always had bad teams, but it has happened before as you saw in 1968 and especially 1995. Miles is as good of a coach Kansas has ever hired, and that is what I am factoring in. Even crappy Oregon State had a great team when Dennis Erixon (sp?) was there.
  5. True, and Kansas has had a good team here and there. It’s not like they had been bad every year.
  6. A tight relationship can be extremely tough to compete against. So, yes, Kansas most likely signs him unless he has an unexpected bad visit, which would be unlikely. Oh well, we can’t get them all.
  7. Fonau loved his visit. Thus he appears to be the most likely signee. Hopefully he turns out to be good.
  8. Saw his highlights. Not a burner, but he’s not slow either. He seems to make the first defender miss. Could be a hybrid WR/TE. Love to see him develop in our conditioning program.
  9. Yes, no doubt. Njoku is also that guy who you would look for in the end zone in goal to goal situations. But, yes, Houston would be too talented if he wants to come. Plus we have tall tight ends.
  10. I wonder if they prefer Njoku because of his height. I assume Houston is another speed guy.
  11. I remember Reggie Smith years ago also showing the bone and ended up signing with Oklahoma. But, yes, I think he is N. A really good indication of that is Pola-Gates saying he may accompany his cousin on his OV in Lincoln.
  12. On that 35-yard pass play, he looked a lot like Johnny Rodgers. On that overthrown bomb, you can see Wandale’s straight-ahead speed exceeds him.
  13. Obviously a lousy publication. I just wonder what football game he was watching.
  14. Why does it matter to you if I read it when I didn’t know the quality of the publication? What’s the big deal? You could had pointed out to me this is a poor-quality publication and left it at that rather than start a silly argument. Right?
  15. Wrong. I was browsing online and found the article. I have never subscribed to it, and never had read their stuff before.
  16. Who is Tyler Brooke of Bleacher Report, grading Wandale Robinson a C? A C???!!! Really? He was one of the stars of stars in this game. Wandale was clearly the best open-field runner out there, and he was as good as the best receivers out there. This guy is crazy. He’s fired!
  17. Another nice catch. Let’s bump this young man up with another star.
  18. They both appear to be okay. Great catch by Wandale and great hit by Pola-Gates.
  19. Wow, you saw his great speed on a bomb that the QB had overthrown. He blew past the DBs.
  20. Thank you for the info. Now the question is whether he has also gotten close to these USC commits.
  21. It doesn’t hurt that there are three Corn commits in his ear, and one rooming with him — this could be huge. The question is: Are there any USC commits there doing the same thing?
  22. I imagine Frost will have a short leash on him. Hopefully he will now respect team rules and accept responsibility.
