  1. As I thought after the latest visit, USC would trend up. But they may lose some of that grip after the GA visit. Fortunately the N visit is last as of right now, and hopefully that will remind him of his apparent passion for the program.
  2. That certainly could be, and he may go to USC. But on the other hand, his dad not only was a super star at Nebraska, but he also has a very close bound to the university. Dylan has most likely all his life has seen his dad’s collections of Husker gear and photos. He probably has a room specially made for them. Thus Dylan perhaps — but of course I really don’t know for sure — has bled red all his life. It could be very special place for him. And having his uncle retained by MR has probably had a very emotional impact on him, besides the possible emotions of growing up with Husker football. So with these powerful emotions and if he feels Rhule and his staff will coach him as well as the other schools, plus he is blown away by the fans and the facilities, these could all come together for Nebraska. Yes there are a lot of IFS here, but I’m an optimist this could become a reality with all these possible emotions that he may not have for the other schools. Yes, thanks to Frost, he had a brief reason for not wanting to come. But again, if he keeps shopping and this drags on, I will feel less hopeful.
  3. I suspect after the USC visit, he would tilt a little toward them, and then the same thing after GA. But hopefully his N visit will tilt it back to the Huskers. I be real worried if either one of those other schools were the last visit. But if he continues to shop around, I don’t know.
  4. I happen to run across Zack Smith’s online show. What a d#%k. Not surprising with his bad Ohio State history. He believes DR is a prima donna and thinks OSU may had pulled his offer. He predicts DR will be a bust. Also he still believes N and Coach Prime were working on a contract. But listening to him talk he is such an arrogant POS. The only reason I’m bringing this up is I heard him talk for the first time by accident and didn’t know he was that arrogant. He doesn’t deserve to be on any coaching staff. Now back to regular programming.
  5. He apparently still wants to visit Oregon. So unfortunately that will probably happen after the N visit. I just hope he is blown away with the N visit and he commits, but it appears he still wants to shop. Callahan and his crew say Colorado and Texas are in consideration, if still on the outside of the inner circle. Like I said the more visits he makes may dilute our chances. I hope he doesn’t visit CU, and why Texas when they have two number ones already at QB.
  6. I do believe Trev is willing to put up the money to get him, more so than the previous ADs. I basing that on how much he is willing to pay MR.
  7. He may want to be paid what his market value is as posted. But perhaps the highest bidder may not be a factor. Some think when USC’s “Big Money” comes in they will get him. USC will only be his pick if Dylan thinks it’s the best fit. Same with N and GA.
  8. I figure it could bounce a little toward GA after his visit there, but hopefully it goes back to Nebraska after he visits Lincoln.
  9. If you seen his latest video, he seems to favor Nebraska a little, but GA and USC are still strongly in the mix. That at least is my interpretation.
  10. Must see this as a diamond in the rough. Prime apparently is interested.
  11. But the other services still have him number 1, so what does 3 know.
  12. Kind of goofy how they rank these players when they haven’t yet played another snap of football, unless they have participated in a camp or two. .
  13. One of the most elusive and shifty backs I have seen.
  14. There appears to be three schools as the front runners right now with Oregon just right outside. The rest are trying to get in. Except for maybe also a visit to Oregon, does the family want to visit other schools and get possibly overwhelmed? Just a question. Maybe they want to visit more. Who knows. But if Dylan bleeds red with his closest relationship being his uncle and he really believes in Coach Rhule, we have a decent shot, but no guarantees.
  15. Some think it’s a sure bet he won’t come. They don’t know that, as some are sure he will. Our OL or no OL, if Dylan is convinced major positive change is coming, and he can be part of it, that could be huge. But what seems to set N apart is the love he is getting from Husker fans. I as well don’t know where he is going, but the momentum seems to be going our way. I do believe that momentum will slow down after the GA visit but could very well pick up again after he visits N. Plus what also sets us apart is he seems to be “very close” to his uncle. It wouldn’t surprise me if that is the closest relationship he has among all the coaches from other schools. What would concern me is if he does take other visit after Nebraska. The longer he continues his search, the more his March visit may fade. Let hope he commits here late March or on April 1. That would be a great April Fools.
  16. Donavan says Dylan is still visiting GA. Old news now.
  17. It seems N wants him the most. My feeling is GA would love to have him, but it’s not essential. Same thing with USC. But N has to have him. I have nothing to back that up, but it’s my gut feeling. I just hope after the N visit he commits to us. The more visits he takes would reduce our chances and drag this out. I keep my fingers crossed.
  18. Not sure how to copy and paste it, but go the Husker Max and find an interesting article about DR from 247. It’s exactly what we have been talking about how the number 1 recruit attracts other top recruits and that he is here this weekend.
  19. I would think if you are GA and USC, they would be concerned that Dylan’s uncle can continued to talk to him during the dead period. Will this play a factor in his decision? It could only be a disadvantage for the two other schools, not N.
  20. Maybe he never canceled in the first place — a matter of miscommunication.
  21. I hope it’s still the week before Lincoln.
  22. So it’s now between N and USC unless someone else steps in. Maybe Oregon?
  23. Hmmm, I think his grandfather was born in Mayberry, and he was a marine.
  24. Bo was a solid if not a great coach. Much of the negativity perhaps comes from some of the most one-sided losses in Husker history. Unfortunately when he lost sometimes, he really lost. What really stung was when that Wisconsin RB rushed for over 400 yards in a game. At the time it was the record only to be broken the same year. So it’s those meltdown losses that probably put off some fans. One of the worst was that loss to Wisconsin in the Big 10 championship. Bo was good and had respectable seasons, and he looks great now compared to what has happened afterwards. But unfortunately he wasn’t conference championship good — many fans here want conference titles, major bowls, and occasionally contend for the national championship. Too high expectations? Maybe but it is the way it is in Husker land.
