Bc wasn't Luke Fickell Husker Fans top choice on who they wanted as the next head coach and to see him on a rival team now your like wow that's surprising and I'm not saying I feel this way either just understand how some Husker Fans are seeing it that way.

One would think that but they might be in a rebuild as well just not a all the way rebuild like us.

Bc they thought Rhule may be a better coach or culture fit then Luke Fickell. I can't see any other reasons then that.

The Big10 as a whole got mighty tougher with the addition of Luke Fickell, USC and UCLA.

You can say that but there was no way of knowing that Matt Rhule was going to get fired or he was the top choice from the jump.

That's what I'm confused about? Why wouldn't he show interest in Nebraska if he was going to get more money??? Like if Nebraska came to him and said we will give you 8 million to be our coach nope no thanks. Next school comes along we will give you 6 million oh I love that offer I will take it. That doesn't make sense to me. Aren't you supposed to maximized your own value or that's not what is suppose to happen???

I understand why you say that but their have been cases where coaches don't always go back to their alma mater when the job opens up.

No one we aren't a stepping stone program even if we are down in the dumps right now.

Hate to ask but why would Elijah Robinson leave his current position at Texas A&M if he is already getting good money to come here? How would making the move benefit him?

I wonder why we never tried to get Luke Fickell ourselves? I mean it always seems like Wisconsin is always one step ahead of Nebraska. Barry Alvarez was the best thing to happen to Wisconsin bc he literally showed them our blueprint for success. Pound the rock and play a physical defense. If they get Luke, then I will be more upset with the fact that we didn't try ourselves or if we did and he saw the writing on the wall and said nope this place is a dumpster fire not for me but who knows

Well my brother said he was listening to 1620 and Mike 'L Severe this morning and said that our assistant pool money is also going to be around 9 million as well. If that is the case then I'm excited who the coaches Matt Rhule brings in. Nebraska isn't screwing around I like it. Also Matt Rhule is the third highest coach in the Big 10 now. Ryan Day and Mel Tucker make 9.5 million.

So if Matt Rhule does decide to try to bring Phil Snow to Nebraska fun fact about all of this is he was the defensive coordinator at Arizona State in 1996 that stopped our offense and number one ranking after that day.
