Why do people always go for the negative towards things?? It goes from grinding to automatically sleeping or towards that!!! Sounds to be like slander. Some of you guys are flat out wrong. Slander- Make false and damaging statements about someone.

If he isn't going to pursue it as a crime then why voice it at all? You know why nothing came from any of it was bc simple it wasn't true or not that serious. Like I said certain people love to add on when your down. Urban Meyer may be a scumbag to you and that's how you judge him bc of what is presented to you through the media. For me I don't know him so I don't past judgement. You have your opinion on him I have mine. For me what is presented to me is a college football coach who is a 3 time winner.

Exactly!!!! Great point. But bc Urban Meyer is out there doing that in the public eye it gives the people the right to chime in. No it doesn't. Nobody has a clue how their marriage is. I learned a valuable lesson from my mom when I was younger if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it.

To me from what I took away from it was lets so called keep dragging his name in the mudd. He was already fired then you take the opportunity to keep dragging him. Totally unnecessary. If there was any substantial evidence he would be charged with simple assault but he didn't so it was all for nothing.

It was there for the taking so I took it.

Do you honestly feel that he so called physical assaulted his football players? If he so called kicked the kicker don't you think he should have gotten sued??? Nothing came from out of that.

He is making his commitment this Saturday!! Don't know what time but did hear there are seven schools he is considering and the only official visit he took was to Nebraska. Don't know if all that mumbo jumbo previously is going to hold up or not. Bc Nebraska certainly hasn't been winning.

I don't know bc there isn't enough evidence to show me and any other husker fan who is a legit candidate. It's all pure speculation as to who we all want or would like. Just no evidence to back it up.

The biggest so called knock on Urban Meyer is his character. They isn't any doubt he can't win and coach its the other things that have been taken away from his name that people pause and go wow didn't expect that.

Bc that's disgusting behavior. If your football coach is going to do that then he certainly won't hold his players accountable for their actions the naysayers will say.

Yeah but certain coaches to me come across as they are ok with losing. Not saying they hate it but are ok with it. Trev said he wants a coach that hates losing. There are alot of names being thrown out but there are actually very few who fit the criteria that Trev wants.

No but in all seriousness there aren't many coaches that we can name that are grinders and hate to lose candidate coaches.

When Trev said he wants a grinder and a coach that hates to lose some of those names that have been on here don't match that criteria. When you think of grinders coaches which ones match up to that?

He can't be any worse then Mike Riley or Bill Callahan.

What were Rick Nueheisal ESPNU comments? Also by reading Adam Carriker post why would anybody believe that it is Chris Petersen? Is anybody giving MJ a fair shot before the season is over to still become the coach? I listened to a 247 podcast today and all three guys on the show think, MJ still has a shot to prove to the university he should be the full time head cosch.

This is my personal feeling on him. Good coach bc he can coach but does it mean he can bring enough talent in to Nebraska? He is a developer coach. I think Nebraska needs a developer coach and a ace recruiter to compete and not be a middle of a pack team. There isn't much indication on how Leipold or Campbell would do here. Yes they have had some success but for me their names don't have a certain buzz to them.

Your joking right??? Jimbo Fisher if my memory serves me right coached and won a national title. Just bc he isnt doing so hot in Texas A&M doesn't mean he can't coach. Now on to Deion, you say he can't coach but when your 20-5 you can coach. You might want to say you wish he coached at a FBS school. 20-5 in his coaching career tells me he is doing something right.

It speaks volumes that he leads the NCAA in receiving yards. Tv people do speak about him but you would think there would be more exposure to him rn. I wonder during their next game if he will even get mentioned that he lead the NCAA in yards. He won't be leading in the receiving category by the next game he plays in but he should at the very least be mentioned as one of the big 10 best wr's.
