  1. So meeting people on-line makes them a scumbag? It doesn't say how old the guy was, he could've and probly was around the age that he thought the 18 yr old girl was.
  2. Oh crap, sorry, wont happen again.
  3. I've got an insider account, here is what they are saying about NE.... edited by DaveH: Sorry, posting "paid for" content is not allowed.
  4. Never saw the Reality show, but I'm sure most of us (fans, which is what he is) would be pretty much the same way. The only difference between him and us (at least me) is that he is a billionaire. I would love to have him own one of my teams any day. Look at it this way, a few years ago, the team was built on many superstars, all of those players didn't play defense, only offense, but now he has a team that does play enough defense to at least make it to the Finals. He learns as he is going. Does what it takes. Good Owner.
  5. Only 2 more starts like that (which was a great start btw) until Baylor makes his arm fall off, much like Prior and Wood. Z is a great pitcher, but he cant throw 126 pitches every start.
  6. The Cubs are 7th in the majors in salary, they just need some better luck. And pitchers that dont have fragile arms. And Mark Cuban to buy the team. I want the Cubs to win as much as anyone, but I dont want them to become the yankees. BTW, how was Wrigley, I've been trying to get there for the last few years.
  7. Look at the bright side, Ronny Cedeno and Matt Murton have been playing better than excepted. Jacque Jones and Ramirez are finally starting to hit. Our rookie pitchers are getting experience, and they have had a few good starts in between the bad ones, getting them ready for next year when Wood and Maddux are gone. And Lee is only a few weeks away from returning. But it is still another frustrating year!
  8. ESPN Story Alex Gordon has yet to play a single game in the major leagues and yet his rookie card is the hottest in all of baseball, selling for as much as $2,550 in recent weeks. Is Gordon the Kansas City Royals' next great player? Could be. But that isn't why his card, which is No. 297 in Topps' 2006 set, is worth that kind of money. The piece of cardboard is worth that much only because it never should have been produced in the first place. Continued.....
