Not sure how age or if someone is a band geek is a valid reasoning for stating the facts that we have a professional team on the field by definition. When players are earning enough perks to equal well over $50k a year and that’s not including the athletes who do have NIL deals don’t tell me there should t be expectations for them to perform on the field.

You say that but these kids get paid in tuition and now real money. They get free adidas clothes and shoes as much as they want. They have facilities that rival pros. They (atleast many) expect to be treated like royalty They can leave school and goto another anytime they want now. I would argue they are pros , especially in the NIL era

I agree it is too early to pin this on rhule. We have low quality players from the previous coach. He does need to do better with clock. But it really boils down to the players not performing at the level they should. This is Nebraska where their locker room is nicer than the pros. They get free schooling, which I can saw from experience paying for my daughter is a lot and then they get food and so many clothes they can’t wear them all. But yet they don’t pay for any of this on the field and the university asks for more n ow from the fans.

The only curse is recruiting players that are privileged and football IQ stupid

UNL and UNK are cutting programs and jobs so Please give money to renovate the stadium for a group of players that are weak in the body and mind.

I think Thule needs to avoid power 5 trash transfers and scout the fcs and get some players that would like to play at the big school. There are good players that have been overlooked and are proving themselves.

I will admit I don’t know the nuances of football offense line. If you don’t have a full back in who is in for that person? Seems to me if you are going to be dedicated to running the ball and your O line sucks then having a fullback that can move and help clear a lane would be helpful vs a wide receiver of tight end you don’t throw to. Someone explain
