You know absolutely nothing about evaluating stats or QBs apparently. Will Howard last 2 seasons has a higher passer rating and QBR (20th to 95th). Will Howard has the threat of running while Will Rogers has no rushing ability. Will Howard is also rated 94.73 vs 91.60 on ON3 transfer rating. Will Howard improved in completion % while Will Rogers declined (Year over Year). Will Howard had to play games in the Cold, Will Roger’s did not. Will Howard’s average pass went over a yard further per attempt than Will Roger’s explaining the greater chance of interception, but inevitably accomplishes more first downs and field position. Will Roger’s dumps it down and relies on WR YAC. Also benefitted from Mike Leach (R.I.P.) system (8 billion short passes a game) This is all based on the last 2 seasons as you shouldn’t evaluate a Senior with their freshman stats..

Completely disregarded that our offense was awful and our defense should have been much better than any stats could show. Also scoring is up from over a decade ago…

Our defense was insane this year to overcome the 120th ranked scoring offense

Injuries might have actually helped us minus Washington. Our O line didn’t play any worse. Our QB was better at the end than the beginning or middle of season. Receivers were more athletic but young. We hardly ever tried for the explosive plays until we were desperate. Play calling was a factor in some of the late season turnovers. Every effing team has injuries. Iowa had Deacon “fastballs only” Hill at QB and many other critical injuries (DeJean 1st rounder). It’s time to accept that we are effed next season as well, when Rhule will have no choice or excuses for keeping Satterfield afterwards. The Schedule was the easiest in my 39 years of life this year and will never happen again. No more Big Ten West :(. Elite programs joining the conference next year. Our issue was never Scott Frost, it was his love for his friends as assistants. Just hire the best available and learn to work together and we are back in the Top 25. Enough winning over years and we are in the Playoff. Might never win a championship, but after the Riley, Frost eras, I’d just like to see us with a number next to our name again.

Are you going to accept our current situation and have to watch the same thing happen for an 8th season in a row? There are tons of QBs in the portal but this one actually makes sense and would be our only chance at winning football games. This fan base used to be mad at a bad bowl game and now we can’t even get to one because of QB play.

The defense gave up 17 in regulation… Also bad offenses wear the defense down over the course of a game.

There are so many options out there and we pick an unproven bum. This is so frustrating with a team that could legit be 9-2 or 10-1 right now and ranked. Half the games with half their offense and still could have won most games with anyone with a brain calling the offense. Keeping bad coordinators, that are friends, have cost many their job.
