Oh sorry I forgot it only took one player to get national titles. Not an insane defense, greatest head coach possibly ever, great depth and a great Offensive line. Frazier 49.5 percent pass completion career must have been a great overall QB. He was a RB taking snaps period. He did his damage on the ground behind a great offensive line. Raiola will do great behind an average line and with average receivers, but it takes an entire team to win titles.

The point was that those guys were developed by other coaches also. Like Brix is gonna mention everyone without saying the O line coach as well. Kid is basically a Nebraskan living closer to Lincoln than any Iowa University. Benhart was developed for multiple years and a 4 star before Raiola coached him. Ben Scott was already developed and multiple year starter. Congrats to Raiola for getting 3 star guys to campus! When he pulls a 5 star linemen let me know. Playing s#!t teams all year doesn’t make him a great O Line coach nor does it prove he was the reason for year over year improvement. Nouli back after suspension helped a lot too. When you fail to look at the details, you fail to understand what really caused the improvement.

Just watch every aspect of what this kid does against top competition at his level. His throws are effortless. He evades tackles and completes passes off one leg falling backwards. There is a reason he is the number 1 QB in the class and being compared to the best QB, possibly ever, in Mahomes. Gets the ball out so fast and improvises on the fly. This is just one game highlight not just his hundreds of 60 yard dimes downfield

I’m more worried about our receivers being able to catch up to DR at this point. DR is better than half the NFL QBs that started this week already. There is a reason he has been the top recruit or top QB for around 4 years now in his class.

Going to be fine with below average QB play in college football? We absolutely have to land DR to have any chance at the top half of the new BIG 10. If he doesn’t commit after all this crap, we should just eliminate that entire family from the program. If he comes, he will end up being the greatest player this program has ever seen at QB, and that is saying a lot. Luckily we don’t have to worry because he is 99.99999999% coming.

I have Nebraska Pipeline dreams and would prefer a top tier O Line coach instead of one still growing into the role. He is only in his 2nd year ever of being the only O-Line coach and was brought in for obvious reasons. We were 3rd in average yards rushing against a weak side of the conference. Let’s hope I am wrong and we get Baker to flip to cover the growing pains of 3 stars

Against Iowa we had a combined 20 years of cfb on our starting line. Math says that equals 4 years on average per linemen. The youngest had an offer from Alabama. Next has been in college for 3 years and 3 have been in for 5 years. Brix hasn’t played a down and if he doesn’t improve year over year we will be able to see if Donny is the real deal. I expect a “senior line” to do well regardless of the coach

Let’s not forget why he’s still here (Dylan). He hasn’t really developed anyone into a better player and has failed to get so many top linemen that came on visits. He better hope this year’s class actually develops over the next 2 years and Dylan gets him some top linemen in peer recruiting. My hope is NIL cancels out his lack of current ability or that more experience makes him better.
