The ship has sailed on Fleming. As for Banks, the big issue obviously is that he goes to Michigan after us so they'll have the opportunity to exceed whatever we offer. Rhule has stated in the past that he's not interested in getting into bidding wars so if Michigan's offer is better he's likely theirs.

Unfortunately Scourton not coming here, nor is Alexander. Hopefully we can land Banks (looks to be down to us and Michigan) and Dowdell (who reminds me of Trey Benson). Wish we'd pursue Tackett Curtis more determinedly.

I do understand your concern; however, he's a 4* for a reason. He doesn't have elite speed but once he breaks through the line he's very difficult to bring down.

He has deceptive speed. He doesn't look that fast, and when he breaks through the line it looks like the defenders are going to catch him... but then no, he just sorta glides away from them

Not many are. Hopefully we land at least one of the two. My problem with Fleming is that we're not his top choice.

We'll be targeting a RB and probably another receiver or two... and likely a LB. We played against Tackett Curtis last year and he was the difference-maker in the game. I hope we do whatever we possibly can to land him.

Still holding out hope for Demas. Not sure what the transcript issues are but hopefully it works out. Coleman, Demas, Fidone, Nelson...

Easier said than done. Established, experienced QBs are entering the portal because they want significant playing time... not to play second fiddle behind a freshman phenom. I think we'll go after a portal QB, but if worst comes to worst HH will be the backup. Might have to persuade a serviceable QB with some NIL dough to make him willing to be backup. CT, perhaps?

I honestly don't want a kid who doesn't want to be here. He wants to go to PSU so let him take that route. If it falls through, that's his own fault. I don't want to be anybody's backup plan.

Not sure about that assessment of Demas. He's actually VERY gifted, perhaps even moreso than Fleming. Personal/domestic issues were his downfall.

I heard Raiola has been in contact w/ Fleming... not sure who else.
