  1. Alot of kids look more at location than fan base, you could also throw weather in the same conversation. Well I can tell you that it was hot as fck in Pasadena that day.
  2. I think it would be irresponsible to play him Saturday. It's been 2 concussions within months.
  3. It's five pages of FLU saying the same thing over and over again. Read his first post in the thread and you'll get the gist of the last give pages. Also, someone poops in the shape of an "N". Basically due to the fact that many posters' reading comprehension skills are sorely lacking -- stating that I said I want Bo fired, questioning others' fandom, etc. You shouldn't question other people's fandom. It's their fandom to do with what they please. Anyone know where I could find some good FEMDOM in Omaha or Lincoln?
  4. A drive to Omaha for Louis M's Burger Lust would be worth the drive for a burger lover.
  5. They were filming at the tailgate are at the UCLA game. They filmed me and my friends who all had custom T-Shirts. I hope we make the cut.
  6. http://www.omaha.com/article/20120905/NEWS/120909866/1685#woman-sues-alleges-injury-came-during-pelini-foundation-clinic LINCOLN -- The Bo Pelini Foundation and Husker offensive coordinator Tim Beck have been sued by a Lincoln woman who alleges she suffered a traumatic brain injury after being tackled during a women's football clinic at the Hawks Championship Training Center in June 2010. The woman, Beverly J. Morgan, was 64 at the time of her injury, which she said occurred during a gauntlet drill during a "Football 101" clinic. In her lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Lancaster County District Court, Morgan said she was given a football and urged to run between two lines of women holding blocking pads, who attempted to knock the ball out of her arms. After taking one or two steps, she was hit by one or two women so hard that she was knocked off her feet and hit the back of her head on the training center floor. Her cap and earrings flew off, she alleged. Beck was supervising the drill, Morgan alleged, and it was him who urged the other women to "Hit her!" Football 101 was a one-day clinic, first organized by former Husker Coach Bill Callahan in 2004, to raise money for breast cancer research. In 2010, it attracted 950 women and raised $125,000. It has not been offered since. A lawyer representing the Bo Pelini Foundation could not be reached for comment Wednesday. Morgan's lawsuit seeks $92,564 for medical expenses related to brain surgery and repair of a torn rotator cuff, as well as an unspecified amount for pain and suffering, lost earning capacity, physical impairment and other damages.
  7. Dude, it's West Hollywood...I think you'd have trouble finding anything else. I've had no luck Google-ing. Some of the places that have come up are CLOSED, there are a lot of fine-dining ones that are a little pricey, and then there are dives that look like they have no atmosphere whatsoever. Where are the food trucks usually located?
  8. Anybody know of a good sushi and sake bar in West Hollywood or within a short drive distance?? Looking for one with cheap to moderate prices and a fun and sort of trendy atmosphere.
  9. Me and a few of my friends are meeting in LA to go to this game too. I saw HuskerMax's tailgate but we didn't think that paying $55 for a plate of food and 2 drink vouchers were worth it. And probably some sh*tty band playing Margaritaville. So we are looking for something to do as well.
  10. Credit that to the Southern Miss coaches for rotating Anthony Alford out of the game.
  11. The guy is a bruiser. I was in section 20 and I heard the pads pop all the way up there when he ran that guy over. Do you think that this program could help make him a little faster??
  12. I honestly don't think that we are going to see much improvement in his mechanics DURING GAMES.
  13. TRUE. No Kinnie to drop balls. Experience in system. Experience in game. Experience WR core. Healthy Reed. = more weapons What did I miss?? Oh....and
  14. I'm in section 23-L. I hope there will be more Husker fans in my area.
  15. So, we have a couple of Roses on this defense now. What would be tight is if we can get a least a couple of players with the last name, Guns or Gunns.
  16. This is probably my favorite freshman. But if he burns a redshirt year to only to get 20-25 carries, I'll sort of be disappointed.
  17. That's not the same cat as this pic from last year.......
  18. Oh c'mon, after 10 pages EVERYTHING has been covered- rumors, reasons, facebook, a media conspiracy, coach firings, personal attacks, everything. If you want to discuss it more maybe just read the thread instead of posting early and jumping back in late. Intelligent conversation was gone quite some time ago. This thread has reached a level of absurdity way worse than the gif bombing. Are you sure you didn't just come back to say you were right? Now........back to the ponies thread. To be fair, as soon as this topic was started, it was immediately hit with bad attempts at humor.
  19. I'm assuming you're referring to what his GF put on her FB page, but this is what she put out there: "Before the word gets down to Florida via internet and everyone attacks Tyler with questions, yes it is true for those of you who have heard..after battling, toughing things out, and making a VERY difficult decision..Tyler is coming home! As he has fulfilled his childhood dreams of playing for Nebraska, making a difference, and going down in history for being the first true freshman to start, its time for him to move on and expand his talent. He ISNT done with football and has a team or two in mind! Nebraska is a great school and has a great team and is for some guys but not for Tyler. His dream is to play for the Steelers or an NFL team someday and Lord willing he is going to make his dream come true. You can like it or not but i am VERY proud of my baby for making such a hard decision and his family and i support him a billon percent.. It would be nice if everyone else did too. Cant wait to see what his future has in store and prove the negative people wrong. Thank you to all the Husker fans who have supported him and dont want him to go, it means alot.. He will always be a Husker, its just time to open the doors back up to some new options and find his happiness and love for football with!!" BULLSH!T!!
  20. What is there to prove?? Tyler QUIT!!! Plain and simple. And to his GF's remarks, I AM one of those doubters. Like a previous poster said, Don't let the door hit you in the ass. GTFOH!!!
