  1. I disagree. It's been 3 years now, he has his players, and his system is in. The excuses are wearing thin. At least now we know that he wasn't "holding anything back" in those first 2 games, because the play calling in this game wasn't any more imaginitive, or less "vanilla." <<Waving the bullsh#t flag>> You ever stop to think Caly called the plays he did to see how USC would react and then realized he could be in for a long night if he didn't go more conservative?? Disagree. You apologists give BC wayyyyy too much credit. What he did tonight (as well as a few other times in his history as NU HC) was not genius, it was total incompetence.
  2. I agree. It's like Solich was back on the sidelines. Hell, Solich at least played to win, up until the "Debacle in Boulder."

  4. BC mentioned this earlier in the week when he said that "This game won't make or break the season." At that point, it seemed as if he was throwing in the towel. This staff has shown an ineptitude to formulate good gameplans and consistently gets outcoached. Definitely should have thrown the ball more. It became pretty obvious that NU could play with USC, but the coaches never gave NU a chance to win. I agree with another poster that if this is the best NU can do, this staff may never get the job done. On the bright side, even though USC gained about twice the total yards NU did, in my opinion, NU wasn't really embarrassed. It was kind of a "blah" game.
  5. Another thing where the hell is Cody Glenn, especially on 3rd and short.
  6. No, the problem is he runs when we face a team that is questionable or weak against the pass (today, or OU in 04) and passes when we should pound the rock (ISU 04). At least he is trying to shorten the game. Give him credit for that.
  7. I have been a Husker fan since well before I was 13, when NU only had a couple of games a year on TV. Again, quit taking shots at me. Get off my back.
  8. I never said that. It's funny how when others say they anticipate all games equally see Licensed to Ill: nobody bats an eye. But when I say it, it's somehow negative Get off my back already.
  9. My heart tells me that momentum from last year's Alamo Bowl win will carry over, and give NU a shot at winning, at the very least, making this a close game. My head tells me that USC is not sCUm, Mich, L Tech or NSU, and that NU has not faired well on the road in the past 4 years, or against top 10 teams in the past 5 years. Usually, my head win's out in instances such as this.
  10. I have a bad feeling that he is going to try and outthink himself, much like he did against Mizzou last year.
  11. Let me guess, you were 13 in the early to mid 90's?
  12. I certainly hope that it's a better gameplan than the ones used against Kansas and Mizzouri last year.
  13. Ah the good ole days of cruising Dodge street and picking up....well ya know! So you used to cruise Dodge to pick up ?
  14. Sorry, I'm a little fearful that NU will probably lose, and might lose bad. I would hate to see that. Is that okay?
  15. You know your bringing me down with this negative attitude!!!!! You can say last week all you want how about the game before that!!!! And then how about the game before that and then that other game before that!!!!! That's it I'm going to the woodshed meet ya there!!!!!!! Sorry, I get equally excited about EVERY game. I'm sorry that your such a fair-weather Husker fan, and don't enjoy every game.
  16. Wow, thank you for your contribution
  17. The confidence is great, however, he needs to shut the f--- up!!! I would almost respect this from AC or McKeon, but from a guy who has only played in ONE division 1 game--- Like a caller said on Justice today "I remember what Tommie Frazier said prior to the Fiesta Bowl. He said 'We said all the right things-that Florida was a great team, it was going to be a tough battle..but in the locker room we all knew that we were going to blow them out.' " USC is like NU from that year, and NU is more like Kansas was that year. Just shut your mouths and play the damn game already
  18. Losing Mann will hurt, but on the flipside, the O didn't really skip a beat last weekend with Byford in there. Hopefully he is ready to step up. But USC is different than Nichols.
  19. Isn't #34 Stew Bradley?? Well, considering I said the sixth picture, I don't really know why it matters that #34 is Stewart Bradley, but the answer to your question is yes, yes he is. :hmmm Oops, I guess I missed where you said 6th pic. My bad.
  20. Personally, I would rather beat them at full strength, no excuses.
  21. Maybe it's the system because his backup didn't fare any better did he?
