  1. AWESOME.........I am now officially geeked..........hope that offensive line smashes the mizzou kitties!
  2. I am pumped lets see these husker play like we know they can play........I think Nebraska has the bigger chip on the shoulder and should come out gangbusters.........lets all hope........if they can't get up for this game then something is definitely wrong............. I know the stadium will be rockin!
  3. A bit biased, are ye, laddy? Everyone else besides the Mizzousier fans knows he's a sh**ty coach. He just recently got off of the Five Worst Coaches list. Where have you been hiding, Missouri? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...lbag/index.html Ya the whole Brad Smith experiment bit him in tyhe arse.........has had good recievers and great tight end pretty much ignored under the smith regime and now being further utilized under Daniel's
  4. Are some of the kids on the current Husker football team into much drinkin' an' smokin' these days? Back when I was in high school, I used to hang once in a while with a certain son of a certain sports information director. Well, a few times we went over to the home of the older brother of my friend. And that older brother was a friend of Tough Tony Davis, who he brought home to party with us one night. I'll always remember that night because we smoked so much that we burned a hole in the side of the wooden bowl of a pipe I had. We couldn't imagine that it hurt Tony's running abilities any! That was in the good ol' days before pee tests, etc. That is awesome...........I think Cally runs a tight ship but who know's..........I know Grant, Christian, Frost, Farley....hmmmmmmmm Williams etc all liked to party and Incognito .well he got high and knocked people out.....lol
  5. Another troubling stat and please correct me if I am wrong but Callahan in 3 years has lost to 12 unranked teams.............vs. T.O. , and Frankie "DUI" Solich 20 losses to unranked teams in something like 20 yrs.........that is troubling.
  6. The team plays soft zone and there is no push by Carriker and co., it will be a replay of KSU when they spanked us in Lincoln..........plus they run that off tackle misdirection play with the halfback out of shot gun similar to Okie state, Oklahoma was able to shut it down and make Daniels beat them with his arm we must do the same.
  7. I am being serious Billy C. could take him, seriously.........when Bill gets pissed watch out............between f-in hillbillies and the throat slash.
  8. Ya don't let the double chin fool ya.......Weis is a tooth chipper, but Billy C. could take him in a deathmatch
  9. I totally agree nothing compares to the CORN!
  10. I apologize for saying I would stick the flag in his azz, I would stick it in his buttocks........but my post rings true..........not very pleasant with the red koolaid, but true. I am as diehard corn as anyone........and sometimes it gets the best of me ..............I LOVE THE CORN.........GBR!
  11. We have 4 possibly 5 games remaining, I am not about to give up on these kids, even if they lost every game. NUFF SAID me neither.............light the fire Billy C.and let it burn into a bowl victory............GBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. With success comes expectations with increased expectations comes bigger success, its the circle of life here at Nebraska we want Newyears Day BOWL games not meineke and Alamo, the facilties, boosters and fans deserve better and the kids who play for NU deserve better. Tom Osborne was a great motivator, you will die for somebody you love, you will play well for somebody you fear......., Callahan needs to light a fire........period, this team does'nt need excuses it NEEDS TO BE INSPIRED...........and for defense Mcbride would have never tolerated that type of performance, Callahan is a smart guy and I hope he see's this and I hope the seniors see this...........there was a time where no team in the land would want to play the corn......especially on homecoming...........Callahan needs to brainstorm and inspire these kids.........don't talk to me about talent it is about heart and this team lacked that against the cowpokes......... I remember many games where McBride's defense looked lost and tanked games. So I throw the BS flag on the McBride thing! I'll take your flag and stick in ur azz..................from my memory I have never seen a husker defense or team take a loss so nonchalantly as this one.........there is this "NFL" mentality in regards to playing like poo, like there is always next week, next year, next decade..............carpei crystal football............
  13. We wouldn't have recruited him when he came out of high school. What's your point? Keller is the real deal...........HOLEYFIELD
  14. I've been a Husker fan longer than I can remember. My mom's family is from NE, and despite the fact of never living there, we'd always go back to visit (almost every summer I can remember). Besides, I'm not from Alberta (I just live here)... I've lived all over (thanks to my dad's job). But was born in Washington State. Have you ever been to man camp?
  15. Kill those GD hillbillies and the whiner aka: Stoops
  16. winner-winner chicken dinner.........
  17. Come one now don't act like McBride didn't coach a bunch of stinker games as well as seasons. He got bailed out a lot by having the offenses that those teams did. The 83 defense might have been the worst to ever play here but that offense just happened to score crap loads of points. People wanted McBride gone before 1993. That is a fact. I know we have a lot of people around here that don't remember the 80's but McBride's defenses we pretty average to below average. It also helped that we played in the Big Eight and every team but Nebraska and OU(Colorado in the late 80's) stunk. You can say the teams in the Big 12 aren't very good but they are light years better then the crappy teams from the Big Eight. Charlie was great but it wasn't until he changed his scheme(1992) and the talent level went way up that he became great. Just my view on things. I am talkin about being tolerated not ever having one?????????...........Being inspired I didn't see it vs. the pokes........I agree its unrealistic to say win every game, but i want to see some inspired play, giving it everything even when your on the road can you say you saw that???????.........in college ball every game is a playoff game, home or away and our guys seem to have a problem getting up for games away from Lincoln.
  18. MAN CAMP!, try it this summer......lol
  19. Losing in the NC CHAMIONSHIP game vs. losing to a middle of the road south team hmmmmmmm you just proved my point the bar cannot be lowered , the standard has to be maintained or we will become a ksu, isu, fizzou like program............I'll take a loss to the best or one of the best in the country, but okie state ...........come on............have the husker faithful fallen this far..............??????????

  21. KelleR is a pocket qb, but he hung over four hundy on LSU last year at ASU .
  22. ........totally agree thats what make nebraska great the expectations.........and the Down's syndrome comment was funny not very PC, but funny nonetheless
  23. BC wont fire his homie and the players love him so I don't see it happening, plus look what he has to work with in the secondary.
  24. Sad to say but I have to admit I drank the Kool-aid way too much, any qb with alot of mobiltity and a big offensive line can run amuck on us.
