A wake up call in the 9th game? That's some sh**ty coaching going on if it takes nine games to "wake up" the team. IMO I think it' s more like the team was banged up and tired, at least that is the way it looked.

I cannot remember the post but it was in regards to the physicality of the team and I disagree.........Carriker, Moore, Lucky, Mckeon are all built like brick sh#t houses but I do think the team lacks some speed on defense.

Oklahoma state will be ready to play and I just hope ur team doe'nt suffer some emotional let down after such a huge game against texas............the upside that was the best defense we will see for the rest of the season. Second how great is Brandon Jackson...... what a player and Corey Mckeon his mom must have sent him to MAN CAMP alot when he was a kid , suckin that injury up and playing........I think the team will be more focused than ever now with a mission to make it to KC in December and I hope BC loosens the cuffs on ZT and opens it up a bit more.

We really have nothing to lose in this game Texas wants to get back in the "Crystal Ball" hunt and has the rep and alot more to lose than us the rest of the country is expecting the RED to lose and that's great mayber Cally will loosen the reigns and Zac and co. can pull off the W. The key matchup is our db's and how aggressive our blitz packages can be without getting killed by the Mccoy-Sweed combo. I expect some Husker mojo on Saturday to be a tough texas team.

Not showing "anything impressive" isn't the issue. Why they're not impressive is the issue. The Huskers have vulnerabilities unrelated to how many pass plays they run. There are still inconsistency issues. I think they're very good but still a work in progress. It's not as if they're elite but BC is trying to hide it because he's afraid to loose. They're going in the right direction but haven't arrived in MHO. I think it's great all these D1 coaches we have on this board in case you have'nt noticed Cally is playing a good gameplan with the best thing in mind for the team....K-state has a good defense and I knew going into it we we not going to run up the score. People on this board bitching because we are 6-1 but we are not running the scores up high enough.....wow. Everyone thinks that big mean Cally is putting the handcuffson ZT that is bullsh#t the gameplan for Texas won't change it is the recipe to win...ball control short down situations.........If we get into a shootout with texas we lose ugly..........

I see them trying to establish the run and I see no reason why NU can't chew up clock and get them to cheat up, then open it up......the run in this offense sets everything else up + keeps ISU off the field.....so don't be surprised at first to see majority of run plays. Also, if Glenn is going to have a great game I see this game having huge potential for him with his physical style, he should be able to keep the chains moving.

It was a great game and I think Meier for KU played a great game and I'm glad we got KU early because if Meier plays like that all year KUwill have a good year, it was to say the least a sobering experience for me.
