So what are the chances we make the Big 12 Tournament at end of the year? I am really really feeling ambivalent about this team. I hope they win but expect them to lose! I suspect many feel the same way! I can not believe how far we have dropped. I know Havoc will beat me for these commments but it is true for me>

Creighton was an embarrassment and I have had major concerns for a long while. You are right we have the fan base and the facilities. I also think we have some talent and granted we have had some injuried but the draft situation for two years a go should cease to be a reason for the decline. The fact is these teams do not compete and have not competed at a high level for a few years now! They just dont show up consistently! What happened to the hard nosed over achievers we used to get? I will continue to watch and listen but its becoming increasingly difficult as it was under Sanders!

Its a shame we are not in the final 4 but KY kicked our butts. I think we were very tired! It was a great year!

I have to say that UCLA looked more athletic but there is something special with NE women. Griffen can play on any team would be my guess since they say she will a high pick. Its is also a team game they are as balanced and any time in the NCAA's. UConn appears to be in their own world although we will see how they play against some Big 12 teams now.

I though other then Sunday the team played very well! I was very disapointed with not being able to close out the game Friday night! I really hate TX but they seem to be able to just turn it up a notch when ever they decide to.

Paper said they score 3 runs off him and he had to be replaced. The guy has not had a good outing yet. If this continues Texas will pound him if he gets in the game.

It appears, unless I have miss counted, that we have 17 games schedule between now and April 6th. We have series with Houston Baptist, TX OK and OK State, one game with SD, 2 with No. CO, and 2 with ND. If we win 2 with Houston Baptists and one each with TX, OK and OK State and all the games with SD, No. CO and ND. we will go into the Creighton game at 13-14. I am hoping for better but I guess it could be worse too.

I was asking any one who might have been able to listen to the game. Cooper may be the only one in the team who could score from first on thta play. Not sure maybe there are other speedsters. Havoc you were talking about the lack of quality at bats, one would hope that changes as the season moves forward. I know I hate to see them lose but I wonder how many more then can lose with out it becoming contagious?

I was unable to listen to any of the games, I just want to know and I am not sure why we have a guy try to score for from first when we have no outs. I believe this happened in the second game. Did he miss the stop sign, did he ignor it or was he sent by the third base coach? I know I am taking my life in my own hands asking these questions but I will ask any how. Also is Anderson still the hitting coach?
