Yeah, I have to agree the "looking past" excuse could fly for OU, but not Texas. Heck that's quickly becoming the road game I'm least worried about, whoda thunk that. It's definitely looking like the North is going take a step back towards credibility this year.

haha........you funny and baylor COULD win the south too..........right?? I could see Kansas, Kansas St, Missouri, Colorado all beating NU this year so that woulld make them fifth in the north. Not sure about the Baylor thing though. I can also see us winning each of those games. Does almost everyone on here have to be as negative as they can? Our team is 4 and 1. Same as Oklahoma and Texas. How about a little more support for the team you all call yourself a "fan" of. I think your trying to imply that those who have a few negative posts or rants are not real fans? Yeah, that's pretty much what they do. Every single day.

Very well, but I felt he was encouraging censorship, something that this board doesn't do. Just expressing his opinion. That is encouraged. Name calling is not. He didn't think my opinion belonged in this thread which is essentially a personal attack on me. So am I to understand that personal attacks are fine as long as no name-calling is involved?

While we're on this subject, am I the only one who has noticed that on the schedule page, right under where it says "2007 Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Schedule", it says "Presented by Huskerbard.com"? lol

Ha, you're referring directly to me. Very subtle. And usually, I don't care about someone's bad grammar on a message board. And in the recent case where I corrected the grammar of an Iowa State troll, it was because he came onto this board with the sole intent to talk trash and annoy us. I'll correct his grammar, just to get in his face. Also, if you would have even READ beyond the grammar corrections I made, you would have seen that I talked more about the upcoming football game than about his grammar mistakes. So shove it. EDIT: Have you ever seen me attack the grammar of a member of this board who contributes positively and intelligently? No. So it's not a problem as long as they agree with you? Nice double standard. With that said, some of you reeeeaaaally could use a remedial course in spelling and grammar.

It goes way beyond expectations. I actually heard the following word come out of a Husker 'fan' after the game sat. "I was hoping they would get blown out so Callahan would get fired". There are people who claim to be fans, who are hoping we lose games. These are not fans. And there is venom like this being spewed all over this board right now. I could have(and have been tempted to) rant in the woodshed, but that is just more of the same. What some supposed 'fans' are doing is not being supportive, it is divisive and destructive. Right now this board looks more like it is an Arkansas board than a husker board. Maybe Callahan is the answer, and maybe not. But hoping that games are lost and attacking the players is not the answer. Who on this board has said they hope NU loses games? I don't recall anyone here saying that.
