If we do pull the upset vs texas, the media(espn) will talk about how texas lost the game, not how nebraska won. We might as well not be ranked or in play in the sun belt for all the attention they give us. I have actualy heard media poeople compare the north and the sun belt too.

unless you are in the title hunt, the polls are about useless. We are not in the hunt, so there is no reason to worry about style points. (any opponent just getting 3 points, especially in thier house, is style points)

The mid 90s ruined some fans. Right now, wins are wins, however they come. No we are not dominating teams, but we dont have a team loaded with that kind of talent yet. Look around college football. Right now there are only a handfull of teams that can dominate in a game. Teams like Texas, Ohio State, USC, we just dont have all the players yet. We are still rebuilding, if you listen to the experts, they think we wont be back to being old nebraska again till next year. It's about progress. 6-1 and 3-0 is definatly progress. DOnt sit and expect a program that struggled against every team they played for several years to leap back into the national champonship race in 3 seasons. As to the knock about going undefeated, that doesnt happen often for anyone. NU has 5 titles, and more than 100 years of football. Hope for it, rout for it, but if it doesnt happen every season, dont throw the coach under the buss.

Like I have said before, there are a number of husker fans that wont be happy till every win is 77-0. We are not back to the elite juggernaught just yet. Take every win, especially on the road.

Oddly enough, A&M has exposed the MU defense, and the A&M defense has shut down the MU offense in the second half. The only MU points in the second half(with under 7 min as i am typing) is a safty from a bad A&M shotgun snap.
