I truly hope that someone is telling Peterson, Callahan, etc. what is being posted on this site. SOMETHING has to change. Every team has an "off week", but NU hasn't looked this bad (continuously) in years.--Maybe since I've been alive! They are getting out hustled, out coached, just simply out manned. They look like a bunch of pop warner league kids out there.--Not very talented and they all look lost. Good thing I love the game of football enough that I have other teams I like to root for and like to watch. I just crossed NU off my list until a complete overhaul happens.

All Minsky's locations are Husker bars. There is one in the rivermarket area that is good. It has tons to tv's. You just have to get there early because it isn't very big. The Minsky's on I29 and Barry Rd. is kind of a dump but still a good time on game day. You can also try The Peanut on Shawnee Mission Pkwy. and Pflumm. GBR!!

Electrocution and hanging are methods used to kill death row inmates, so apparently the human population doesn't see this as cruel and inhumane. I agree that drowning is probably cruel and inhumane. I don't love Vick. I've always felt he is overhyped. However, I do see an injustice due primarily to his celebrity status. He had some dog fights. He killed some dogs. My dad has killed dogs before because they killed chickens. I'm glad he's now passed on because I would hate to see him face jail time for executing a dog! Dude...the dog fighting thing is plain and simple, it's wrong! "People" who take dogs and starve them, beat them, etc. to make them mean in order to win a dog fight is wrong. I can't believe you don't understand that. I've even seen tv shows that inform these idiots steal neighborhood dogs, duct tape their mouths shut and thrown into a ring as "sparring partners" for their fighting dogs. I can't believe you are trying make sense of this "sport". Since you are so very interested...as a matter of fact, I do own leather products and grill steaks all the time like every other normal husker fan. I just don't agree with dog fighting as you do...apparently. How can you relate executing criminals with dog fighting?! Some jag off that rapes and kills someone deserves pain and punishment. Ok...I am a member of Huskerboard because I've been a Husker fan for all of my 38 years. I read and comment on lots of topics about the good 'ol BIG RED. I just feel that someone needs to start a topic on the whole Vick thing. I know he has nothing to do with Husker football, but then again...this site is all about football and us football fans. I'm interested in hearing some comments on this topic. Here's my beef...I was watching the game tonight and couldn't help but get *issed off listening to former coaches and commentators saying how they feel bad for Vick because he is such a great guy and role model. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Dogs are not only living creatures but man's best friend. Who said it is ok to drown and hang them for losing a fight??? Taking a life is a serious crime. I don't care if it's a dog or O.J.

I LOVE it!! I'll be the first one to admit I miss the Tom Osborne years of domination in the 90's, but I also have to admit that I loved seeing our head coach excited after the game and willing to let everyone know it! When asked about the trick plays, he just smirked and made sure that any CU fans watching knew he intended to make them look bad today.

It'll be Texas. A chance for NU to play yet another "home game" against the horns. I live in KC and got some good seats to the game and can't wait to reunite with the out of state Husker fans outside Arrowhead!! Let's tip a beer or few!

SEC= SPEED. I just wish NU would figure that out. Instead of recruiting players that are ranked by Rivals and Scout, they should have enough faith in their coaches to "coach" players with speed!

Good point. The overall records is overwhelming, but a lot of the games were still pretty close (except the OU/Mizzou game today). If I was a gambling man...I would put my money on the hosting team almost every time. How else can Kansas State beat Okie State???

I've been reading all the posts following this throttling we took to Okie State. I agree and disagree with a lot of the comments. I've gone back and forth and back and forth comparing all the games between all the Big 12 teams. It comes down to this...any team can beat any team on any given day in this conference. It sucks that the Huskers can't dominate the conference like they used to, but look at it this way...just about any Big 12 game on tv will likely be entertaining!-- A very good thing for football fans. Especially those of us in Big 12 country.

Maybe both the Huskers and Cyclone were looking ahead to next Saturday?? Both teams were lazy, sloppy, etc. Next Saturday might be a dogfight! ISU looks forward to the NU game more than any other. NU better prepare hardcore.
